second one with ötzi is really easy to explain. when they found him in the glacier, there were a lot of bacteria and other stuff that was just asleep in the ice. the people that had contact with the mummy got infected and the bodies didnt know how to deal with this old bacterias, maybe viruses. so they died.

The Annabelle doll wasn’t actually possessed but used by another deviant being. The warrens did a great documentary and explained a lot about he doll and other artifacts. I have a friend that personally met them and actually worked a case with them back in the day.

we actually learned about Otzi the Iceman in history class, and the story is actually very interesting! we didn't learn about all of this cursed stuff, but Otzi helped scientists uncover much history from the stone, and bronze age. :)

@@Uuuh...hein... I read that the entity, pretended to be a ghost of a small girl that was murdered . This made the girls feel sympathy towards the doll and treated it like a small kid . They wore bracelets on the dolls hand and stuffs like that. They treated the doll as if it were a human child until things were getting weird.

He never should have opened up that box.....You NEVER EVER open up anything with a dark past.

In our culture it's a wide and well practiced belief to not take items from places from which they belong. Been told by my great-grandmother to not touch things that didn't belong to me or break things (tree branches etc) because that's not my mob/place. It's really about respect but that also ties into the our understanding that the land is a spiritual being meant to be looked after and cared for. That's how I grew up anyway.

Anything labeled curse I wouldn't trust or tamper with haven't seen any good news coming from cursed objects

I have an attic full of creepy items from the early 1900s. One box contains an original raggedy Andy Doll and whats horrifying about it is that the doll has a small burlap bag placed over it's head. Also in this box is a doll of Raggedy Andy's nanny Beloved Belindy, smiling out at whoever opens the box. Another box contains a 3 foot tall porcelain doll of a fancy dressed man. The doll is placed in this box lovingly, but it's face is shattered. I stopped exploring my attic after opening a trunk and finding a bloody quilt that smells like death. My house is quite haunted.

Agreed. My mom and my friend kept talking to him and asking for his photos. I was standing as far away as possible like "Noooope." The worst part was when we were driving later that same day and we were listening to the radio. We were talking a little crap about him (making fun) and the radio started having sudden static. lol

The Annabelle doll doesn’t look scary, until you see just how large she is. I used to have a raggedy Ann doll growing up, but Annabelle is literally 3x the size of the one I had. I feel like that adds to her power and makes her that much more intimidating.

As for the Uluru story, theres nothing dark about it. Im Australian and all that story is is sad. You can no longer climb Uluru due to the amount of people who would damage it and take material from it. It is a sacred ground for indigenous Australians and its shameful that people would damage it.

On the subject of dolls.... historically they WERE NOT toys for children or anyone else to play with. Dolls literally came into being as vessels for spirits. They were originally used to give the spirit of a person upon their departure a residence, if you will. It's debated as to whether the spirit was trapped in the doll or if the doll was offered as a place of embodiment but either way how the hell did anyone ever think they would make good toys?!?!

Hindu to them might be witchcraft which is death penalty there. It may not be classified as witchcraft, but it's kinda strange and may really be witchcraft. They hire many household workers out of India. Hindu - we never read too much on that stuff. The ancient myths are kinda real stuff. Hindu n' Buddhist are kind- of similar.
