Great list! We exclusively play 2p so Fatima (core) is incredible... Scrying the mythos cards every other turn, plus healing stress right before pulling a discovery card. So good! I like Swiftness more than you simply because a single upgrade is ostensibly a fourth action each turn. I also really like Mario from S2... His special plus one level of Toughness makes him immune to Cultists and weaken them for anyone in his space, so he can recklessly drag them all around the board or neuter groups of them for the whole team. And finally, we love Adilah too... Combining with Sam from S2 is so good since he can always rest for her.

We FINALLY got around to playing a couple games yesterday. SOOOO fun! All three of us have a ton more content coming in Dec, so we figured we better get some games played!

I’ve had fun with Adam since levelling marksman and fuelled by madness can end up with you rolling like 10 dice for an attack

Rasputin is my go to. Brawling, Arcane Mastery and Unkillable pretty much makes him a late game monster slaying juggernaut.

I've never found her to be suuper strong, not compared to Rasputin and the likes. She is a fun mixup from your regular way of playing but so far I found that staying near gates isn't always the most effective thing to do, even if it does prevent spawns and what not

It would have been cool if the character abilities were modular, that way you could swap in different abilities and still use the figure you enjoy. Also, the underdog of the core box is the one armed soldier.

What expansion was Hailia from?

Adilah and Sam... OMG. Sam has Calm and can rest in unsafe location as well as Tough. He tanks damage like a boss thanks to Tough and also can heal Adilah through Vodou. She then is free to dish out damage.

Zee, you need to update this list once the new Kickstarter stuff is out.

2:20 you are ready Mary's level 2 ability wrong. When you get wounded, all investigators in your space heal 1 *stress*, not 1 wound.

Don't you love how different all the characters are. Old/Young; Male/Female; they all have the same amount of health, stress, and sanity

Almost all best characters are KS exclusives nice ... And that's why I don't like CMON, the best parts of their games for example characters in Cthulhu:DMD are included in KS exclusives and you can't buy them in retail. It's awful practice imo , but it is allowed and we can't stop them

Honestly though, it’s the only reason I back their kickstarters, otherwise I’d wait for retail and then see how the reviews come in… I’m not sure there is a good solution for both the company and the consumer. The only happy medium I can think of is if CMON charged scalper level prices after a KS but then people would roast them for that.

@@ConeDefense Yeah I understand how it works for them and thanks to it CMON is making so big amount of money. But there are plenty of succesfull companies, their crowdfunding campaigns, which put a little bit of KS exclusives and almost rest of content is still avaible later, sometimes much later in retail. Sometimes deluxe versions of boardgames are KS exclusives and that's what I am still fine with that. Look for example on Awaken Realms their all stretch goals which are free only for backers without few exclusives, you can still buy them later as paid expansions. I think this is the best way to go. To be fair absolutely I understand and respect that there are people which want to have as much KS exclusives as it possible and companies like CMON deliver it. But for people who likes board games for example Cthulhu:Death May Die and couldn't back it on KS is some kind of more or less sad situation. Fortunately retail version of Cthulhu:DMD is still very good and full experience, even I will miss forever all awesome characters exclusive for KS version :P.
