i loved your review! chanel is probably one of my fav makeup brands and you hit the mark! their lipglosses i recommend to everybody, aphrodite is my fav shade by far, and they were my gateway into the brand. ive been eyeing the rosy drops so i think you convinced me to add it to my cart

Thanks so much for a detailed review of the new Le Beige vs Solei Tan. I would love a full video comparing them on the face a year later. I'm disappointed I never got a chance to try the original. Just as I was about to purchase it finally, it was reformulated last year and I have always wondered about the coconut ingredients. Usually I stay far far away from anything coconut as it causes a lot of skin congestion for me and just isnt worth it. Your reviews are so helpful and you are definitely my resident Chanel girl!

I'm so happy I was able to get the Soleil Tan de chanel before they changed the formula! I know it will last me forever 🥰 I would love to see a guerlain and Dior version of this type of video! Another awesome video Erin. It doesn't get old. We seem to prefer the same makeup brushes and I keep forgetting to let you know I there is one that is my favorite. I highly recommend the Koyudo Fu-Pa Series F-03 Liquid Foundation Brush ($55) from Beautylish. It is a full sized head with a short handle VERY dense brush with both natural goat and synthetic hair. I know you like long handles but this thing is amazing. For me, it beats out Marc Jacobs, La Mer, Bobbi Brown, Chanel and more. Both cream and powder foundation goes on smooth. And it is excellent for cream blushes/bronzers too. The added plus is it doesn't absorb much product and is very easy to clean. Because of the short handle, it is great for travel as well. I bought a few of the FuPa's but some are too small. This brush is a power house.

I really love Chanel ultra tenue ! Wearing a mask I don’t have to worry !😉 I also love Chanel baume essential in rose! I really love it by itself or to compliment my blush 🥰 my last one is hand cream I have it everywhere the le lift hand cream! Absolutely love it! 😍😍

Chanel eyeshadows used to be the worst in the market - at least at that price point. But recently their eyeshadow quality has gone up. I agree with you it’s still not the greatest one around, but only recently I started buying Chanel eyeshadows and I’m buying them all 😀 Please do let us know in your future videos what palette/brand you think is really good/better than Chanel palettes. Loved your videos💕💕💕

I agree, Le blanc de Chanel and the other nuances, really love them, surprinsely because the colour of my skin in dark (tipycal Italian). I really love also Chanel le teint and les crayons for eyes.

As much as I'm a Chanel lover I really don't care much for the Soleil tan the Chanel. I cannot compare it to their original cream bronzer but I'm having the same issues with it as you mentioned. I couldn't understand why this product is/was so popular. Now I realise all the great reviews were for the original formulation. Now I almost never use it, I prefer my Guerlain bronzers. The other product I'm not in love with is the cc cream due to the thickness of the product. Any application tips are appreciated. Thanks as always for another great review! Keep them coming!

I wanted to say that I loved the cc cream when I first tried it on in the store and bought it. But after wearing a few times my forehead got really dry and had little bumps. I’m heading closer into my mid forties and finding skin is drier so I make sure to use good skincare and will notice right away if a new product causes reactions. I exchanged the cc cream for the fresh water tint foundation and so far it’s working good it just has way less coverage. Would love if you could make a natural look makeup video with products for extremely sensitive maturing skin 😍

I need to know your thoughts on the new reformulated blushes! I’m so trepidatious

I got the ombre one and I don’t like it at all. I hope Chanel brings back the old formular or fix this one. I hear that most of them have the same rosy undertone, which is weird.

Hi Erin, great video as always :) As others have mentioned I'm also worried about the reformulation of the Chanel Blushes. They have always been the blush that is 'neverending', I don't think I've ever hit pan on one. I watched Michele Wang's video and her view on the new blushes was disappointing! What is happening to Chanel? They always had a great product reputation as being high-quality high end but why are they re-formulating products that don't need it. What's the saying "If it's not broken don't fix it". Thanks once again for an excellent video x

I thought I was the only one who had an issue with the new tan de Chanel drying out so quickly! I purchased it about 6 months ago and it’s like it has a chunky film on the top, and I’ve had my original for about 12-18 months and I still have no issue with using it! I wish they wouldn’t have changed it 😔

I’m not even joking when I say that it took me nearly ten years to finish off my Soleil Tan De Chanel cream bronzer! 😂 It stayed as fresh as the first day I bought it. Once I noticed it was out of stock everywhere a year or two ago, I had my boyfriend at the time bring me one from the Chanel counter at London Heathrow airport. I’m so glad I did because it was another original one!

Oh my goodness I cannot believe the new bronzer dried up that fast. So glad I haven’t opened mine up. I picked it up bc I couldn’t resist but don’t plan to open til I can go in store and purchase foundations and can wear makeup on the daily.

I bought mine 2 months ago and the brown pigment has already faded. I've used it a dozen times and now it looks like tinted vaseline on the skin. The texture is the same but the color isn't there anymore somehow.

@@sophied23. I kept the jar plug insert to preserve it so it shouldn't be due to air exposure. My home stays 73°F so it didn't get too hot or too cold. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The top layer performed beautifully though so I hope yours stays consistent! 🤞🏻💜

My thoughts on Les Beiges bronzing cream: it's a lose-lose situation for Chanel. The original formula was amazing, I used several tubs of it, but everyone kept screaming about how everything needs to be more natural (as if there is a shortage of choice in the makeup industry), so Chanel made it more natural, of course, it couldn't be the exact same thing, but just like You said in the comparison video, it IS basically the same. I see minimal difference too, so now been using the new formula same as You for almost a year and no problem, no changes in performance or formula. Also, let's remember that they changed the expiration date from 18 to 12 months and, I am sorry, but I use mine in my everyday routine and You can totally go through it in that time span, even less. No cream makeup is meant to be stored in these huge makeup collections where in declutters we see products 3, 4, 5 and more years old... This video was amazing, I love all videos involving Chanel. Some other thoughts: my base product of choice is Les Beiges water fresh tint, still the best thing to ever happen to people who hate the look of foundation 10min after application, in fact, the whole Les Beiges line is a huge favorite. I do use brow products from Chanel as well, love their waterproof eyebrow pencil and transparent gel. Rouge Coco Flash is my go-to lip formula, it became even more dear to me during this time as it's great for using at home or for walks instead of a plain lip balm, so when a lot of people stopped buying lip products all together, I ordered 3 more shades (Flushed, Feel & Douceur) to add to Boy.

I'm glad to hear regarding the cream bronzer and you're right about large makeup collections. You'll never be able to use up everything! I'm going to try it on the skin and see if I can make it work again after warming it up a bit. I'm going to have to use it up as quickly as possible! xx

Hey, use to watch u regularly, good to see your natural skin. Your voice, adorable. I'm interested in Channel and dior, don't no where to start, don't own either, as hardly wear makeup, I wear clinique bb cream or shisado lotion. Love to no what u suggest. I am looking at dior bronzer, in white leather look compact, or the foundation in the black leather look compact, u was showing one in a white compact, can't rember if its a foundation.

Hi Nicole! Would Rosy Light Drops suit me? I'm NC35-42 or Armani LSF in 6.25. Skin tone is medium with a(n) neutral or olive undertone.

My favourite product will always be Les Beiges Eau de Teint.

Totally agree Erin. Great selection. I do live for their traditional brow pencil in light brown. The color is perfect. I repurchase it year after year! I wish they made les beiges bronze without talc! I love Chanel makeup. It’s been my fave since early 2000s.

Im im love with Chanel makeup, i love the velvet foundation, ultra not that much (european versión is very diferent) stick blush and malice compact ,volume mascara, yes les beiges found is a surpise for me, im combo/oily and i really love it, universal powder and lumiere powder ❤...and last allure laque 💋 Still want to try the bloom and this longwear lipstick...its a shame for the le beiges bronzer, maybe its that thick becouse of the coconut oil? Erin, we love Chanel for what we love Chanel, right?:-) Yes, of course, there are some eyeshadow brands that create much more beautiful creamy, and buttery shades, and we love them as well! I'm just curious what's next for Chanel as I heard that Lucia Pica might not continue her artistic career with the brand. We have seen some unexpected changes with different formula within the brand recently, and I am wondering what's coming next?! I love the CC cream you mentioned, and I'm glad I still have my old Tan de Soleil !:O Are you planning on getting some of the reformulated blushes? I love their foundations - every one I’ve tried is amazing and they’re the one brand I can count on to have the shade that perfectly matches my skin tone. I love the cream bronzer (both original and the new formula), the lipsticks, the glosses, blushes, the le volume mascara would be on my top 10 list...the les beiges highlighting drops too. I reluctantly agree with you on the eyeshadow formula. The reason I started watching your channel was because Of your opinions on Chanel products - I think they’re spot on. I want to hear your thoughts on the new Chanel blush formula next.
