Great video. Lords of waterdeep has never really cought my interested. How would it compare to Architects of the west kingdom. Thats another one I have had my eye on but never pulled the trigger.

It’s much easier to get to the table. The worker placement is simplified. The expansion improve the game slightly and you can swap out some of the intrigue cards, quest cards and building tiles with better ones. The only disappointment are the cubes instead of meeples, however you can upgrade these on Etsy. Architects had an interesting worker placement and more In depth choices, however I disliked the prison aspect of getting your workers taken away and the use of the cathedral meant mathematically it wasn’t worth placing your meeples in it.
