The fact that this needs explaining is a joke in itself.

As a disabled person, I found Andy Pipkin hilarious. My wife and I laughed endlessly at those sketches and THE IT CROWD'S "I'm disabled" bit.

I'm disabled, black and gay and sometimes I dress up as a woman and I found the show incredibly funny.

I love Little Britain. I feel bad for young people who have lost all ability to laugh at ourselves.

Speaking as a disabled person and some one who was a carer l find Lou and Andy as funny AF.

I always saw Daffyd as, not necessarily poking fun of gay people, but more poking fun of people who think that being gay is their entire personality! I certainly remember meeting people like that before, and even Matt Lucas claimed that apparently the sketch was partially based on someone he once met who was like that and always claimed that he was "the only gay in the village" and even straight up told Lucas that he (Lucas) wasn't gay!

Personally, I think Daffyd is the best aged character in Little Britain. His homosexuality isn't the butt of the joke, his victim complex is. He hates it when there are other gays in the village because then he loses his victim points. We see this sort of behaviour all the time today.

I do agree with you and I always think likewise about Daffyd. It’s not about gays but some gays (or others) who put their homosexuality in the centre of their lives

I’m gay and this show is legendary. Struggling to see how the over the top gay stereotypes are any different to the ones used to promote pride months etc?

hands down some of the best comedy out there. Period. These two men are very talented.

I’m disabled and I take no offence to any joke regarding physical disability, it’s all meant to be that just a joke . There’s an old saying words cannot hurt me…

The most offensive thing about this whole situation was banning the show. Absolute comedy gold. Myself and my dad's all time favourite tv comedy show ever, a classic.

I know I loved that hbo max had the show cause being in America it was the only way to stream it now all I’m left with is the dvds of the three seasons the live show the abroad special and the American season they did cause it’s not easy to get British shows in America unless they do a double release with an American channel

This show in it's entirety is absolutely hilarious. It is comedy for goodness sake! Love it!

This video shows all that’s wrong with our society TODAY rather than when the program was made and how delicate people have become

When I was at school the teachers actually had a sense of humour and laughter along with us and when we were recreating the sketches they were fine with it just as long as we kept the language to a minimum and child friendly.

I love Little Britain. Even before the whole discussion, Matt and David showed how colorful and beautiful the world is. You have done a great job of holding a mirror in front of the faces of many people who only think in stereotypes. Little Britain should actually get new episodes, because so many topics are still relevant. Little Britain must live.

How fragile must you be,to be bothered by little Britain.i had some of the funniest times with my mates watching that show.its a shame some had to ruin it🤦🏽🙄

It was more of making fun of people who are raciest, sexiest and homophobic like other comedies of the past. My late nan absolutely loved little britain and she had a wonderful sense of humour. Many happy memories watching it with her.

OMG!😂😂😂I could help laughing every time a scene from the show appeared. I miss it so much! One of my favourite shows ever. They were extremely outrageous and irreverent. I was always too amused to give a darn about political correctness. Still am.

There is no controversy. Just hated by wokies. Great show.

Mostly not offensive, just well observed, hilarious characters. And I’m a leftie. The only one I think is regrettable is Ting-Tong

I am a number of these characters. And so many years later i still burst out laughing at the tought of the sketches. Let alone if i watch the clips. Even special people came on Little Britain to do special sketches. For example : Stephen Hawking, Catherine Tate, Elton John, etc.... And in Little Britain USA we had Rosie o Donnel and the likes.

I had the game, thought it was brilliant when I was 11 😂

Little Britain sketches are HILARIOUS. They poke fun at everyone and everyone loves their humour.

I'm a Matt Lucas fan. I got his autograph in 2003 and he sent me a pre-recorded DVD of Series 1 of Little Britain. Little Britain was the funniest British sketch comedy show since The Fast Show.

This video is irrelevant. The most controversial thing about the show, is that it’s not on anymore! 🤷‍♂️

The only problem with Little Britain was people around the world lost their sense of humor. Little Britain was must see TV in our home and we thought all the characters were brilliant. My hubby was looking something up the other day and said, "Computer says No", just as I was taking my last swallow of coffee - you can only imagine. I miss the show and want to thank David and Matt for so many wonderful laughs.

Comedy reveals real life stereotypes and the problem is, people don’t like to look in the mirror. It’s much easier to deny reality and cancel comedy.

Even though it hasn’t aged well, people have to admit that the Maggie & Judy sketches were VERY ahead of time in terms of the UK’s bigotry & developing Maggie’s sexuality actually now says a lot about terfs who are gay but preach right wing articles. Also Emily and Florence weren’t transgender & clearly didn’t exactly have desires for transitioning, they were just 2 rubbish self absorbed pranksters, Vicky was sadly kind’ve on point about adolescence hence the raking in of viewership from kids growing up & Andy should be seen more as inspiration for disabled people & just generally jokes about that being disabled does have advantages that being able doesn’t have
