Was the Burst line butchered that badly? I grew up with the Metal Saga so I'm pretty familiar with how ass some of their releases are but was it really THAT bad? Leaves me horrified to imagine what could be done to X.

When Hasbro was producing Beyblade Burst during Cho-Z (Turbo), they removed the metal on most of the layers, then during GT (Rise) they got rid of the weights and made all the driver bowl shaped for the Hypersphere gimmick, then Sparking (Surge) they didn’t do the chassis and for Dynamite Battle and Burst Ultimate (Quaddrive and Quadstrike) they made the armours plastic and didn’t do any of the gimmicks from the TT beys but they made the Drivers two parts. Pro Series was an attempt to correct themselves by making the beys 1:1 with the Taraka Tomy beys but use a weaker plastic causing breakage. TLDR: Hasbro messed up

Destined Evo-X Belfyre might be their absolute worst one. They had already butchered every previous Belial (like they did for every bey since Slingshock), but Hasbro having the audacity to make a version of Belfyre meant to have all the gears only to not have any of the gimmicks is impressive. Might as well just release a Divine recolor since absolutely none of the gears were represented (I'm not counting D Gear because they managed to make it worse than their original Nexus)

Imagine some little American kid who grew up with hasbro discover takara Tommy what do you think their reaction will be??

Growing up with watching the anime and only getting the toys from Walmart I was sad that the beys slid and didn't click and didn't have detail like the anime. It was mind-blowing to find out Takara tomy was a thing and that the beys they release are literally copy and pasted from the anime regardless of realism and what not. I fell out of loving beyblade sometime whenever cho-z was out and got back into it near the end of ganchinko or whatever. But when I got back into it I got into the takara tomy side and it was so much more fun being able to enjoy beyblade and getting the sparking beys. Hasbro wasn't even bad before cho-z yet it was night and day the feeling of playing with Hasbro versus takara

I was getting into Beyblade during Switch Strike, I could've gotten into the Takara version but I liked that Hasbro version a little better because at the time I heard that the teeth wore out and wanted something that lasted a little longer, plus they were cheap and functioned the same or even better than the Takara version. When Turbo was announced and I heard that they were getting rid of almost all of the gimmicks to make it light for the Sling Shock system, I was sorely disappointed. I loved the gimmicks in Switch Strike, even the ones that are terrible, it gave them character but after the release of turbo there was no reason to get them because they all acted the same way. So fell away from Beyblade and only checked backed in within last year and was overwhelmed with the multiple parts in the Takara version. Here's hoping that Beyblade X succeeds where Beyblade Burst, especially the Hasbro version, failed.

As a Transformers and Beyblade fan, I am really disappointed in Hasbro.

They really should have done Mattel. The plastic quality on their recent revamp of Mega Constructs blocks is really promising.

I had fallen off of beyblade back in Cho-Z and got back to it in summer of 2022 Boy the disappointment I had when I bought the Quad drive Fafnir :(

I stopped buy the main Hasbro Beys once the Pro Series started but I still can’t get Rage and it’s ticking me off!🤦‍♂️

I grew up with Metal Fury, and when I became an adult and kinda researched all the old bey's I had, for the most part, they were pretty close to the Takara Tomy versions, but bro... Imagine being a kid who grew up with Burst, growing up, and then realizing that almost every single bey you got past a certain point was a completely inferior version to the original, that has to sting like HELL

Man, the last dpriggan hurts me as when I started collecting beys when I was 7 and I'm 15 now but I started collecting and the first thing I got was that white stadium with valtryek and kerbeus with the sword and claw things but the next thing I got was the spryzen pack and that was my favorite bey. until about next year when the god/evolution beys came out and I got the snake pit thing, and though it wasn't stock combo I loved my legend spryzen.then at Christmas that same year I got that set with the big black stadium and the six beys and requiem was my new favorite bey. Also, then I got turbo spryzen and that was my top bey, my friends couldn't beat me. But then those white tabs that make it switch spin direction broke. So spryzens been one of my favorites since day one. To see how Hasbro fucked up so badly hurt my brain, heart and soul, especially because mist of my beys now are Hasbrouck bit I'm trying to find pro series or more TT

Yeah agreed i think the one thing they did well was the locking mechanism. I just think all the attack types should have been tighter.

I honestly got into beyblade burst when I was like 10 playing with the hasbro switchstrike and dual layer beys, but everything past that for hasbro has been a dumpster fire

They didn't really, most plastic/HMS gen stuff was actually really comparable aside from a few they never released, or a few they made slight alterations to. But the designs were way less complex than burst. I don't even remember metal fight being particularly bad, I have a good mix of Hasbro and TT parts that work with eachother and I would use at tournaments. With Burst I bought like two Hasbro ever and I absolutely would never use in a serious game. The quality is abysmal lol

I'm super sad that they are ending the burst series as the most powerful and one of the 4 Takara Tomy beys I have in my collection is union Achilles and that I never got much Takara Tomy Beyblades of like the duel layers or the god beys sucks. But I'm still happy I have 4 Takara Tomy Beyblades which are bloody Longines, emperor forneus, alter chronos and union Achilles. I'm 15, sorry zankye for any spelling errors

Honestly, I feel like rage Luinor pro should be up there. If not number one due to the fact how they poorly manage the release of it, and how scarce it is to find.

It’s really funny how this entire list is almost entirely made up of Quadstrike and Surge. Goes to show the drop in quality during these eras Shoutout to Belfyre and Lamest Raphael

I would've definitely put Hasbro Xiphoid in this list too. Changing one of the most gorgeous beyblades into absolute tripe, with barely any paint, ugly flat colours, terrible proportions and keep in mind this was the last Xcalibur used in the show, and it looks bad even compared to Buster.

Honestly Hasbro is kind of the reason I stopped liking Stadium Gimmicks. All the plastic and creative energy used for Stadium mechanics and they could have used a fraction of that to try to at BARE MINIMUM, find a middle ground between maintaining the Layer Gimmicks and their stadium stuff. Then again, I was let down by Hasbro Beyblades since 4D until they made Beyblade Legends a thing, which just made me wish Hasbro just imported Beys instead of making them.

Yea! L for Hasbro Limit Break Beys, and W for Takara Tomy’s! …aside from Hyperion Burn being a trash evolution…

this might be difficult to answer but if spin master took rights to selling and producing the burst beys would they probably do a better job compared to hasbro

Hasbro has no excuse for what they’ve done. They were cheap since Turbo, then they kept doing it. Absolutely tragic. As an American, I’m one disappointed cause some of us have no access to it. And then they give us absolute trash. Watch em do the same exact crap to the x beys. It’ll happen.

Not having access to takara beys made me quit during the 4d era. To know that hasbro's bullshit not only continued it got WORSE is super discouraging for x. If they mess up beyblade x, beyblade as a brand in the west is OVER.

I have been into Beyblade since 2017/beginning of cho-z. I would watch the episodes as they came out on KZread. and they butchered the beys after that so much, even using a 3-d pen doesn't help, you would literally have to fill every single little crevice just to make it a total of a couple grams heavier.

If we didn't have to confine ourselves with only 10 beys. I would say basically all of them got ruined by Hasbro after Evolution. But of course that's not a surprise to hear since we all know how Hasbro is with their "product" if we can even call it that anymore at this point.

We can all agree... Hasbro butchered 4th Series to 8th Series. After Season 3, We expected Hasbro to be just like TT... We got disappointed. I prey Hasbro don't ruin Beyblade X.

The only Beyblade that was my favorite during Hasbro's run of Beyblade burst was Legend spryzen the rest other Beyblades was terrible not even one to one with the Japanese product and thank God they're going to fix that with Generation X

I think Takara are looking at Hasbro with a DEATH STARE to make Beyblade X faithful.

Tbh Everything from Burst to Turbo was fine SlingShot was weird but it made the beys fun to use even though it burns their stamina quickly. But aside from that everything after Was complete garbage and unnecessary

Never got into burst so I only know that hasbro ruined burst in general, but I was into beyblade during the metal series so I was into the know with how hasbro ruined the 4D/metal fury line

They just have good initiative with bad judgement Like from season 1 to 3 it was good Like sling shock was a good gimmick but Beyblades lack burst resistance and metal on the layer But from GT they just butchered all the beys not a single gt Beyblade was competitive Sparking again speed storm was great but it also lacks chassis system but i really like the metal destroy they made Now in the last season I don't wanna speak anything because they are not good at creating Beyblades they just see their profit. Ohh God now they are returning again in Beyblade x ☠️

From ChoZ to DB/BU Hasbruh has made every single Bey look garbage. Hopefully TT will guide/monitor Hasbro in Beyblade X. They should make the Beys the same exact quality like they f***in promised in that one article.

Every last one of them are trash. I bought the infinte achilles one when it came out and got real excited to finally have infinite achilles after failing to get the RandomBooster release. But when it arrived my happiness went away very fast. I was like what is this trash. What did hasbro do to this beautiful beyblade. My single layer beys could easily beat it. I hope and prey they don't do that to X when it arrives in North America.

Out of all the hasbro beys they in gonna say the b word cause i cant find any other word to say even though hasbro is a official product . The beys hasbro bootlegged are probably the ones with the insane and interesting gimmicks like the belials they took away all of belials gears which is a huge lost granted if im correct the did mold the gears in like the weight disk and the driver and the attack frame like we saw with destined belfyre how it had h gear molded in. Guilty Longinus like the tt one could probably demolish the hasbro one since it has hardly any metal compared to the tt one zest achillies is another one cause its lost so many modes i believe 44 modes lost to be exact which is a huge down fall. The valkeries salvages jump and rebound gimmick which would like to know why they couldn’t do the rebound since they did it for genesis and the bounce gimmick wish they couldve done i mean back in the plastic gen they managed to create kennys bey in the HMS system which had the bounce gimmick. Yeah nah hasbro isnt just the same as they were up until beyblade evolution. I’m really disappointed. So im glad i’ve stuck with tt beys and wish started a while ago probably Around Cho Z. And to think that for some reason, Hasbruh is returning to do Beyblade X. 😑😡 Not sure what the bloody blue hell Takara's people were smokin' with approving that. Now, "everything after Nightmare Luínor" is a bit of a stretch; like Archer Hercules & Union Achilles, Zone Luínor said "screw the rules AND yo' nerfs", because it's stupidiotically strong for what it is...despite having absosmurfinlutely no business being so powerful. But Brutal, Raid, & Guilty totally deserve the scorn (though we can probably let up on Brutal Luínor just because Bloody Longinus was trash to the point that not even a setup like 00 Bump Jolt' could save it). I knew Ultimate Valtryek was gonna be at the top, I just knew it. No way that wouldn't be. They disrespected the Valkyrie legacy just as badly as they disrespected the Spriggan legacy with World, Astral, & Bolt Spryzen. At least they didn't bother to do a "Blocking Lucius" or something similarly dumb-sounding as an adaptation of Barricade Lucifer.

I have done competition for Hasbro Only and for WBO's BSL format, there is no reason to use Zone Luinor, it is hollowed, stuff like nightmare smash into it, xiphoid will eat it, it is just the lesser luinor, even then it is still worse than nightmare, the luinor line is a failure endgame
