Creating a D&D Character... But with LEGO
Help support the channel on Patreon: / mitchbuilds
Welcome to Mitch-Builds, I’m Mitch and I build custom LEGO creations!
With the newly released LEGO Dungeons and Dragons set hitting store shelves, but being way outside my price range, I’ve been inspired to instead take on building a custom D&D character of my own. So today let's build a Brooding dragon-born ranger and even a fearsome wolf sidekick.

I’m absolutely floored by your use of neck brackets on Sir Fangar’s jaw. That’s sensational moccing right there

The most impressive thing about these videos is how you imagine two pieces together and find some unconventional way to connect them, most people would just use some prefab piece instead or give up after a couple attempts Every builder really does have something special to them

Absolutely. That always inspires me when I build mocs.
I love the progression from "here's LEGO's, and here's mine." to OCs. It truly showcases the creative potential of LEGOs. Your integration of bricks, technic and Bionicle is wonderful.
you have no idea of how much it makes me laugh the way you describe the building proces, it cheers up my day
In the campaign I’m running, my friend is playing a Dragonborn named Bustler Chuck (I had to talk him outta using Chuck Norris), but he would think this is so badass. Bustler approved

Friendly reminder: If an illegal connection is any connection that puts strain on a part, then that means any use of a reddish brown LEGO part is illegal.

2007 lime connectors. My personal pain. 2 Ehlek bionicle sets. All connectors have broken in a week.
Oh I’m gobsmacked I’ve never thought of doing wrist joints like that! That solves so many problems! Thanks for that. Also, would love to see you build a full D&D PARTY ROSTER like this! It’ll be amazing.
That is just insane. The part knowledge and iterations it must have taken. Plus having all those different parts available. Absolutely amazing.
The fact that you made sure everything was as properly connected as possible, and that you filled in gaps in the body and hollow limb parts was so satisfying to me that you more than earned a sub! Incredible and creative build too!
I know they're meant to be fur, but the wings on the wolf (mainly the ones on the face) make me think it's like an owlbear but "owlwolf", and it makes him even cooler for me. Btw very nice building, this is amazing
Watching you build that wolf was an emotional rollercoaster

I have no words for how perfect your build are...
the hilt design is both perfect, and something i would have never even thought of. amazing!
Ive been tremendously enjoying your videos. I was surprised when I saw how few you had vs your production value. It just feels like you've been doing it forever. My favorite part of any video you do has to be the audio of the pieces clicking and snapping together. It feels nearly as satisfying watching/hearing, as it would be building it myself. I used to own quite a bit of Bionicle and other constraction parts though I sold them not too long ago, and these videos have been really good at scratching the itch of wanting to build Bionicle stuff. seriously the ASMR level audio of the piece connections you are able to get is genius.
The moment he said he was done a piece fell off in the background. Brilliant lol!
You always seem to take any random Lego head or part and make something amazing out of it. 👍

that jaw mechanics was genius

Funny thing if you inverted the scabbard on the sword it would actually be shaped like a real ornamental one.

Wow that leg and feet design is really clever

You’re so talented at MOC building, or building in general, keep up this awesome content. Thank you for making these videos.
Absolutely insane usage of parts. I wonder if you ever see a new piece and think "that would be perfect for 8 completely different features".
Never knew I needed videos of someone kit-bashing Lego sets. This is incredible
This has got to be one of the greatest Lego builds I've ever seen! Both the design and techniques used are amazing and the character idea is also so cool! I love D&D and this portrais it perfectly!
your usage of different pieces is actually genius, like the wings for the wolf head.
This build goes so hard! Loved everything about it. ❤❤❤
I will say right now, you could probably use the head you made for a LEGO Tyrantrum and I love it.
not gonna lie, that wolf gave me horse vibes, especially with those tiny feet
The amount of creativity in this moc is unmatched, great work👍
Love seeing your builds, incredible use of parts!
As a kid, I remember the ball joints being worth their weight in gold, because I only got them in the rare occasion I got a Titan set. I think my first was the great Makuta himself.
i can't believe that he did it all with lego
I'm starting to think that you have every single piece Lego ever released
nice build .i find it funny how u made the ranger as sturdy as posible .and the wolf is just held together with clips and hope
clipping the robot arm on for it to break, only to then cautiously slide it on and the other side of the arm being cracked was funny to me

That’s Rad looking . Great work . I had to laugh when you made the dog lift his leg 🤣 I thought it was to be funny but you needed to connect the tail . All of this looks amazing .
did you know that the specific kimono style mitch is using is called "katahada", and japanese samurais would use to keep their sword arm free?
The technic spaghetti to get connection points in all the right places is just perfection
I like the fact that the head looks like Tyrantrum
I really love how you made the japanese hakama in your design
I love dragon born characters. I built something like this a while back using one of the ninjago dragon heads. Your video is inspiring me to return to it and make it even better.
