In case anyone was wondering, the fort myers beach pier no longer exists thanks to hurricane Ian. The skeleton of it remains with its pilings mostly intact, but if you're planning activities for your vacation, the pier and town square are not what they have been made out to be anymore. Do stop by and take a look at the devastation and pay respects at the memorial and grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants though!
I just want to come down from Wisconsin and spend the winter with Tinafish and stay warm.

This video is more than 9 months old. The pier was destroyed by a hurricane before that time and is still not rebuilt. Sadly many of the buildings at Time Square gone also. Very slowly things have been rebuilt or replaced with something else. Still a nice family vacation area though.
