You didn’t mention that in Friend or Foe that Mr. Krabs’s side of the story was wrong. In fact, both Krabs and Plankton give sides of the story that make the other side look as evil as possible while glorifying themselves to a somewhat ridiculous degree. Karen had to step in because she had footage of what actually happened, and that’s how we learn about Krabs and Plankton becoming enemies.

Have You Seen This Snail. . .I can now truly relate to that amazing episode. Ever since October 22nd I started suffering from depression. Finally I got help on December 10th but I had to do something so horrible I was scarred from it. I had to abandon all my loved ones because the hospital where recovery was possible was very far away from home. For so long I suffered, cried, maned up and pushed through until finally coming home with medication December 16th, earlier today. The struggle from being away from my loved ones and the amazing reunion was perfectly showcased in this episode. That's why I really now love Have You Seen This Snail.

YES YOU ADDED HELLO BIKINI BOTTOM! Thst is one of my favourite episodes! :D

Fun fact: Both It's a SpongeBob Christmas and The Legend of Boo-kini Bottom were animated by Screen Novelties, the animation company for ROBOT CHICKEN.

I remember Have You Seen This Snail. It wasn't supposed to be funny, because that's not what the writers were aiming for. They were aiming for a more serious plot that talks about losing a beloved pet or family member. Events like that will have an effect on one's behavior and general performance. SpongeBob having depression from losing his snail (impacting his work performance as a result) shows this. Damn. This episode hit me hard. I literally broke down in tears thinking about the theme.

Because after Spongebob is just trying to run a smooth and easy party, the episode decides he must suffer and basically tortures him throughout the entire second half of the episode

What is it about missing pet episodes that make them so good? Both “Have You Seen This Snail?” and “Plankton’s Pet” are some of my favorite Spongebob episodes. Spongebob isn’t the only show to have great episodes revolving around pets. My favorite episode of Sonic Boom was an episode called “Give Bees A Chance,” where Amy nurses a robot bee of Eggman’s back to health, and grows a bond with it. It was written by Amy’s voice actress “Cindy Robinson”, and was based on the depression she faced from losing her dog, Gerdie. It was both a funny, heart breaking, and heart warming episode, like “Have You Seen This Snail.”
