sure, toons should be able to attack directly the same turn by now, I feel Toon Kingdom is wasted potential. I mean even the anime sometimes says no next turn for you. Though the skill version in speed duel to start the game was kinda decent but no Toon DMG and it's useless.

Most Neos Fusions - they bounce back during the End Phase Arcana Force - Coin Flips Venom - Their counters only serve purpose with their Field Spell and Trap. Vechiroids/Genex/Nordics - Majority of their cards do different things and lack consistency Ally of Justice/Meklords - Just aim against 1 particular thing and that thing only (DARK or Synchros)

Twister was such a bad retrain... doesn't cancel the activation, has a cost (even if small) and only targets face-up cards.

Interesting fact, the reason lighting storm is at the weird angle is to make the Raigeki lightning look like the feather from harpy's feather duster.

Volcanic decks revolve around the Blaze Accelerator cards. Venom decks need their field spell. Can you even play Blue-Eyes, Dark Magician or Red-Eyes decks without the vanilla monsters? I don't mean splashing support, but playing a deck full of their members.

@@mateusrp1994 I know Dark Magician has a lot of cards that are basically dead without the original and you might as well play a different Spellcaster deck to fill their niches. Blue-Eyes might be in the same boat as all of the other Blue-Eyes monsters need it or are way better with it in the hand/deck.

You cannot play DM without actual DM, all their best support cards requires DM to actually gets the full benefits from and their cards that count as DM on the field and/or graveyard is either too bricky like Magician of Dark Illusion or requires vanilla DM like Dark Magician the Dragon Knight. Same with Blue-Eyes, you can't even summon alternative dragon without vanilla Blue-eyes

Twister was a retrain of MST that could only hit face-up cards. So as a retrain of a retrain, it still counts as a retrain of the original card.

But Twister itself is a retrain of MST, it's easier to notice when you look at a more obvious MST retrain, Cosmic Clyclone, which essentially has the same effect as Twister, just double the lp cost and banishes instead of destroys.

Forbidden Droplet has a really interesting approach to gaining spell speed 4 status.

The "only n% of people are subscribed" has actually grown. I joined back at 38 or so now it 41. Good job

It really depends, if a 100% of the people watching are suscribers, then the channel is not reaching anyone outside of its suscribers and thus has less potential to grow. Engaging with the sub base is important, but so is reaching new people who might like the content

@@rileylewand2219 not quite A -1 is specifically any card that once the effects resolve you have 1 less card than before. This means anything that does not: search to replace itself, remove a card your opponent has, or draw a card (if a Spell, Trap, or hand trap) or if a monster with an on field effect, requires a discard or removing a card you have and does not change the number of cards your opponent has and does not replace the card you remove for the effect. So a card like Exiled Force, of all cards, is not a -1 because it removes an opponent's monster, so it breaks even, but a hand trap like Effect Veiler which only negates an effect and is discard is a -1.

@@KamenRider1113 actually effect-wise it's most similar to Lightning Vortex and Harpies Feather Duster as it has the option to choose between their effects. Sure it doesn't have Lightning Vortex's cost, but that's one of it's upgrades of it being a retrain. Name-wise it's Lightning Vortex and Heavy Storm though. The retrain upgrade to the Heavy Storm effect being becoming more of a Harpies Feather Duster effect, which most of the time people used Heavy Storm as Feather Duster when they themselves had no backrow anyways.

Brilliant fusion I was actually expecting, a buddy of mine used it as an engine for multiple spam decks; ended up driving away a few of his friends because they got tired of him playing solitaire.

A series about the various flaws and merits of different archetypes sounds like a really cool idea. Once you have enough of these archetype videos, it could be like an archive of some kind. And when they get new support, you could do a video reporting about the new cards and how much they address the issues of the archive or not I'm fairly certain no other yugi-tuber has done any series like this so it's basically free real estate

Thanks for explaining what pot of greed does at number 3, I totally forgot what the effect is.

@@Steele47 I would argue that TTT is not a retrain, merely that its effects reference banned cards. Note that there is no similarity to the referenced cards in its artwork or name. Pot of the Forbidden is in the same boat in my opinion, though I will agree that it could potentially be seen as a retrain of one of the 'jar' cards, despite being called a 'pot' instead.

I remember using giant trunade to bounce opponent's backrow and my own premature burial. Had a few arguments with kids about how that didn't destroy the monster it was equipped to back in middle school. Good times

pressing F for Black Dragon's Chick (formerly known as Red-Eyes B. Chick). Red-Eyes Alternative Black Dragon is awful too, tribute a red-eyes and get some floater that hopes you get red-eyes into the graveyard to double the attack, but it's telegraphed so easily the effect is waiting to be negated/countered, let alone 2400 attack runs over nothing. Beatrice ->Dante Pilgrim/Virgil does that so much better as it's easier to summon and you can dump cards in your graveyard before even floating, and the 2 float monsters aren't boring beatsticks.

Could you be so kind as to create a sub-format that lists all generic search cards from best to worst? I am uncertain whether or not you allready have a series like that, but I remember your easiest to search cards video and it was super interestting, but even while paused I couldn't read all the searchers. :/ And thanks for keeping up the good work! 😘

In Duel Links, Cosmic Cyclone has the added benefit that the 1000 LP cost can often allow you activate skills that say “Can be used each time your LP are reduced by ______”, so its VERY popular, seeing that there is also no MST.

Crossout Designator is a retrain of D. D. Designator, where you declare 1 card and then banish it from your opponents Hand. Also the artwork of D.D. Designator has a very similar artwork, with D. D. Warrior lady in the Same Pose.

I'm just now realizing the "theme" of these spell effects Fire=Burn Sparks, Hinotama, Tremendous Fire, etc. Wind/Hurricane=backrow destruction/removal Gust, MST, Giant Trunade, Harpies Feather Duster, etc. Lightning=monster destruction Raigeki, raigeki break, Lightning storm, etc. Potions and liquids=healing/life point gain Red medicine, rain of Mercy, solemn wishes, etc.

It's kind of similar (but not strict) with attributes as well. Fire burns more often than other (our beloved Volcanics) Water often dive deep (discard) like Mermails, Atlantian etc Dark revolves around GY more often than otjer attributes (and that's why it is the best in the game) Wind often bounces ornshuffles into deck (Galis, Yosenju, Castel, Mist Valey) Earth often relies on escavation from deck or gy (Gigantes, Giant Rat, Block Dragon, Adamantia) Light should've healed but that's too useless

I used a toon monster only deck in duel links and made it pretty damn high on the competitive ranks. So I feel that they can be used effectively it’s just going to be hard to have the right set.

Might’ve already been mentioned, but Crossout Designator is the love-child of D. D. Designator also in art style and it’s banishing effect.

The two pots are actually even better than what you mentioned in decks that love to banish their monsters because then it becomes free set up. While they are few and far between in those decks those cards are glorious.

Six Samurai and Cyber Angels would qualify. Don't think Yubel was ever Tier 0 in terms of popularity. Amazoness almost qualifies but it had competition with Fur Hire and Sea Stealth Attack decks at the time.

I used to try really hard to combo DNA surgery with super poly, to summon five headed dragon way back in the day. It was gimmicky as hell and almost never went off, it worked against my friends from time to time. But obviously wasn’t consistent lmao, fun as hell tho.

The one spell coming out in tcg in rise of the duelist, Triple Tactical Talents, pot of greed, change of heart, and forceful sentry all rolled into one hard once per turn, choose one effect spell

Yeah dinosaur is super strong top tier deck and has been for a long while. You can get like 35/40 of the best cards by getting 3 of the structure decks

I use a DNA Operation with Super Polymerisation and a Cyberdragon Deck with Chimeratech Fortress dragon and Chimeratech Overdragon

Why don't you make other kinds of video alongside 10 card lists?? You are really good and i'm sure you would make super interesting videos! Like deck construction for example, with game play test maybe.. I would like it very much!!
