CRKT also makes another small Razel fixed blade, skeletonized handle. The sheath on mine is a bit rattley and loose, but the blade is a hollow-chisel grind. I love how thin and light it is, and after I gave it a good sharpening, I really like bringing it to work with me.

YES, I AGREE...The Korvid S surprised me..i got the Copper mesh/ Carbon fiber S35vn. IT sliced way nicer than i anticipated, very comfortable, pictures dont do it justice, its very pretty in hand . I thought i would display it, just another collection specimen....BUT NO, I NOW CARRY IT ! The XL korvid...wasnt my thing...too bulky

7:47 this looks good for a second knife for camping trips, cutting ropes or sharp sticks for a cooking place in the woods

It’s been out for years but, I just bought a CRKT SPEW. What a handy little knife for neck carry. Not a better piercing blade out there. I’m not a steel snob and I love sharpening knives so that doesn’t bother me. I have done quite a bit of cutting with it and cuts like a champ! However, if CRKT ever decides to upgrade this knife to D2 and lengthen the blade a quarter of an inch they will have more buyers for what is already one of their best selling knives!

I just ordered the Hogue Extrak for my EDC fixed blade. Unfortunately, only a few of these are potential choices for me because so many of them are made in China. The Asher Fixie looks the best of this bunch.

Have you tested or tried the MSK-1 mini edge?

Love your videos Nick, I live vicariously through your knives. I watch EVERY video you put out. Sadly my situation i can't afford any of these knives. But I'm in the KZread rabbit hole and am really into knives. I don't have any good knives except an old buck 112 from my uncle. If you ever do a give away I hope I win, I would love ANY knife I just want to experience a good knife with bearings and good steel. I just can't afford any. Merry Christmas to you and everyone else. If you ever want to give away a knife you don't use or have doubles of I would greatly appreciate it. Beggars can't be choosers. Just realized.....i dont know which is the better mircata...linen, canvas, burlap, paper ? I hear paper mircata aint great. Or is it just a preference for the look, is one MORE durable ?

I think it's a preference on the texture. Some micarta polish up better for a more shiny smooth finish. Paper micarta is good for that. Linen is a courser weave than paper, then canvas, then burlap. All are very durable.

Micarta is the name brand like say Richlite. It's their own way of taking the materials such as linen canvas paper burlap etc and compositing it together with a resin of some sort. They all have their pros and cons like texture aesthetics wear weight etc but if we talking durability strongest to weakest id have to say linen canvas burlap then paper being the weakest

I enjoy a linen or denim micartafor knives I want to keep. I think paper micarta was the very first material used and should be one of the better ones, like richlite. Let us know :p
