in fairness, the game was a bit all over the place in terms of story (which admittedly makes sense considering the setting was in their dreams) and from my experience was a bit buggy at times but i can agree as well that it was overall a fun time

Maybe the PC Version known as Nighty Nightmare, since it's a much more limited game with only six levels... but that's much more obscure title. If you want something much more deserving of that spot, however, try the PC Port of Battle For Bikini Bottom.

M S Oh without a doubt. That mobile game is exploitative but in terms of boring gameplay and broken mechanics, “Planktons Robotic Revenge” and “Spongebob Hereo Pants” are the worst offenders.

Employee of the Month was my childhood, I forgot about it for many years and only recently rediscovered it. That game holds so much nostalgia for me. My family pc as a kid didn’t have dedicated graphics and was older so I could only play older games in the mid to late 2000’s until I got a console, and that game was one that I played many times through. That game along with Jedi Academy and Deer Hunter

I actually had Creature from the Krusty Krab, Employee of the Month, Operation: Krabby Patty, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, and Battle for Bikini Bottom. And enjoyed them all. I actually think that Creature was the last great SpongeBob game until Rehydrated came out.

I actually really enjoyed the click adventure employee of the month game. Like I remember always loving seeing what was next and solving the various puzzles they provided with item collecting

The best one ist Spongebob Squarepants: The yellow avenger. Nice overworld with main and side quests and very cool bosses.

Yes, my four favorites are on the best list. Love Lights, Camera, Pants. Love Revenge of the Flying Dutchman. Love Battle for Bikini Bottom, which it's the only time Clancy Brown didn't play Mr. Krabs. And The Movie game is one of the my all-time favorite games.

Growing up, I would only play three games on the GameCube: Spongebob: Battle For Bikini Bottom, Scooby Doo: Unmasked, and Shrek: Smash and Crash. ❤️

I actually hated Revenge of the Flying Dutchman as a kid. I did enjoy Employee of the Month and Creature from the Krusty Krab tough. I also felt like the Truth or Square video game deserved a spot as one of the best. BFBB is obviously a fan favorite. It was actually my very first video game for the PS2. Planning on buying Rehydrated when I can.

There was actually a version of SpongeBob SquigglePants for the Nintendo 3DS. I really loved the superhero minigames

My favorite Sponge Bob game is Patrick's Patty Panic. Or as it was known in the 80's "Burger Time" I have weak eys so this game is just my speed. I still play in online.

Wow, Operation Krabby Patty. I remember getting that game out of a cereal box.

Mine too! 😃 When I was in middle school, I was absolutely *addicted* to the PS2 version of that game. The only reaaon I've stopped playing it is because my own mistreatment of the disk (namely, opening the disk drive while a cut scene was playing) worsened the bugs to the point that I can no longer make it past the first stage of the game.

I'm disappointed that creatures from the krusty krab is in the worst category. It was a very fun and well recieved game and why is there no mention for Atlantis Squarepantis?

I just love sponge bob! Maybe i should have that in my upcoming VIDS. 🤩

Battle For Bikini Bottom was one of my favorites when I was growing up. I just wish THQ would make Mr. Krabs would sound like the original Mr. Krabs. I take it Clancy Brown didn’t want to be part of the game.

More like 10 times watchmojo copied Phantom Strider.

I'm surprised that Spongebob's Truth or square game wasn't on the list. I remember having a great time with it on my psp.

I loved Lights, Camera, Pants and Battle for Bikini Bottom as a kid, those games were awesome (the remaster of Battle is also great, I freaking love it). I remember playing Operation Krabby Patty as a kid and thought it was pretty fun, honestly

Who else is eager for the new “Spongebob: Sponge On The Run” movie coming out?

I’m confused. Spongebob Revenge of the Flying Dutchman best? That game was a glitchy mess that was panned by critics for its bad controls and wonky level design. Why is the reviewer putting bad Spongebob games on the best category and good games on the worst category?

Revenge of the Flying Dutchman was underrated. It had various costumes, levels that were fun to explore, diverse tasks and features all the original voice cast without issues. It had bad graphics, boring music, and long loading times but was pretty good. I wish the PS1 game was featured, it was a solid 2D platformer.

Honestly i really put hate on it cuz i never found the Fun in the game. Should have been better if it releases in 2003/2005 maybe feels rushed.

I hadn't thought of the game Battle for bikini bottom in years, and looked up buying a used version of it. But I got really excited because i looked it up the day before rehydrated released. I've played it non-stop for the last week now.
