Thanks for mentioning atleast Turjo bhai from Vibe.He is too underrated.

Best drummer and Rock drummer are 2 different terms. This is an incomplete list of drummers and based on personal opinion. So it is ok for him/them. One of the terms used here to judge is "Brutal drumming" !! No mention of how good they are in improvisation and how versatile they are, meaning they can match up & play with blues players and Jazz players etc. and come up with interesting propositions while making a composition. To be a rock drummer is quite easy compared to becoming a jazz drummer. As per my little knowledge, only three guys (who are not in this list) are having some level of basics in Jazz drumming (it's pretty tough, brutal and you will need your sense of improvisations to impress the other 2/3 major players to jam with you i.e. the lead guitarist, the Bass player, the keyboardist and lastly the Vocalist). These are Khaja Kamal Moinuddin of Miles (before Mahbub ur Rashid), Pilu Bhai of Renaissance and Turjo of Miles. From my personal connection, I know that before coming back to BD, Turjo got his basics started with Jazz drumming. If you are a jazz drummer you will able to play with any type of band or musician smoothly irrespective of genres because Jazz will teach you all the basics & versatility. If you think playing double bass and bpms are major criteria to be a good drummer then I would not engage into further discussion at all. Lastly, pure heavy metal in Bangladesh started with Rockstrata here in 1984-85 and you morons have omitted the name of Mahbub ur Rashid (Kana) ! This is nothing but a sheer stupidity as many of these drummers you have mentioned, are his followers like anything.

Considering this is his personal opinion of HIS top 10 drummers of Bangladesh i will go easy. I think somewhere someone said Turjo of miles is a pop drummer. Funny because he played double bass drums covering everything from Sepaltura to dream theater flawlessly back in the early 90 is. He could and still can play circles around some of these selections. Anyway, good list but some of them are not as good. They can play fast and some great studio drummers but they lack proper time management, originality and stage performance.

Vincent Roy I’m guessing that he wrote this in terms of contribution to the music society. I believe Turjo, Shaju and Tony deserve the top 3 list when it comes to skill. Samiul Wahid is already a better drummer than most of the people in this list but not many people know that. Lastly, Tipu bhai is amazing but he’s not as skilled as most of these people.

Replace Tipu vai with Turzo :) That will be perfect. :) Also Dio vai from Nemesis deserves a place for his unconventional bit uses, such as one in Tritiyo Jatra.

Big mistake .... Because Turjo vai from Miles. He is the one and only best and senior drummer of bangladesh who have a documentory a international tv channel which was before 2000 and that channel not as asual channel, that channel is world one of the top channel BBC ok. So i think this channel and video owner don't have quality to create a top ranking drummer list... Pls rework and complete this video again
