Top 10 Anti Cancer Foods - YOU NEED TO EAT THESE!

Here are the top 10 anti cancer foods. Whether your are hoping to use nutrition for prevention of cancer, looking to optimize your diet to treat cancer, or prevent recurrence of a cancer, you should find this video helpful. We discuss the top 10 groups of foods that have been shown to have anti cancer properties. Many of them work to reduce oxidative stress, decrease inflammation, prevent growth of blood vessels that supply cancer cells, or directly killing cancer cells (apoptosis).
Much of the research behind nutrition and cancer are promising, but at the end of the day more research does need to be done. These foods are not meant to replace the treatment recommended by your providers, but to be considered as an adjuvant treatment your body can use to be as healthy as possible.
This is by all means not an extensive list. Mushrooms are probably the most popular one not mentioned in the video here.
Cruciferous Vegetables: Cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, cauliflower, and kale, are perhaps the most renowned for their anti-cancer properties. Cruciferous refers to plants of the cabbage family. These vegetables contain compounds called glucosinolates, which are metabolized into isothiocyanates during digestion. Isothiocyanates have been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells, prevent DNA damage, and induce apoptosis (cell death) in cancer cells. Additionally, cruciferous vegetables are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, making them an essential part of a cancer-preventive diet. With broccoli, specifically, there is a high amount of a phytochemical called sulforaphane, which is a cancer-fighting plant compound that has been linked to reducing the risks of prostate cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer and oral cancers.
Berries: Blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries, are packed with powerful antioxidants and phytochemicals. Anthocyanins, a group of flavonoids responsible for the vibrant colors of berries, have been found to possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-cancer properties. These compounds can neutralize harmful free radicals, reduce oxidative stress, and inhibit the growth and spread of cancer cells.
Tomatoes: Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, a carotenoid pigment responsible for their vibrant red color. Lycopene is a potent antioxidant that can protect cells from damage caused by free radicals.
Green Tea: Green tea has been enjoyed for centuries and is renowned for its numerous health benefits. It contains a group of polyphenols called catechins, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which possesses potent antioxidant and anti-cancer properties.
Garlic and Onions: Garlic and onions belong to the Allium family and contain sulfur compounds, such as allicin and quercetin. These compounds have demonstrated anti-cancer properties by inhibiting tumor growth, inducing cell death, and preventing the formation of new blood vessels in tumors.
Leafy green vegetables: Leafy green vegetables, such as spinach, kale, and Swiss chard, are rich in essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They are also excellent sources of fiber and chlorophyll, which contribute to their anti-cancer properties.
Walnuts: Walnuts are a nutrient-dense tree nut known for their rich content of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and fiber. The omega-3 fatty acids found in walnuts, particularly alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), have demonstrated anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties.
Flaxseeds: Flaxseeds are small seeds packed with a variety of beneficial components, including omega-3 fatty acids, lignans, and fiber. Lignans, in particular, have been shown to possess anti-cancer properties by interfering with hormone-related cancers, such as breast and prostate cancer.
Green Leafy Herbs: Certain green leafy herbs, such as parsley, cilantro, and basil, are not only flavorful additions to dishes but also provide anti-cancer benefits. These herbs contain a wide range of bioactive compounds, including flavonoids, carotenoids, and volatile oils, which have shown potential in inhibiting cancer growth and reducing inflammation.

working in grocery retail. you notice the different types of bodies people have relate directly to what they have in their basket. the healthier looking people always have veggies and fruits in their cart. the not so healthy and grumpy people always have everything but what your body needs like sodas, candy, chips, ice creams and frozen foods. whats sad too is their kids are victims to their parents horrible diet. then you hear people say the poor stay poor mainly because the food is keeping them poor and unhealthy and easily sick or prone to a variety of health accidents and troubles. they spend so much money on "cheap processed foods" compared to veggies and that sort of foods. it not only will keep you healthy but change your whole body for the better. and it all starts with food. or ends because of poor food choices. you are what you eat.

@@gabeguzman9478 Turmeric is very good to reduce inflammation and new research shows that it may help treat cancer. There is also a theory that the cause of most diseases is inflammation. But in traditional Asian medicine, turmeric is known to have "hot" properties, meaning that it can cause some burning in the stomach, and that is why it has to be balanced with either milk or lemon. Milk can cause some discomfort and usually not a good idea to use when you are sick, so lemon juice is a better option. Occasionally, I use just a pinch of turmeric and squeeze one lemon into it. It also tastes, better. If you are really sick or ill, you can use up to half teaspoon of turmeric. Lemon juice stimulates the liver, which promotes healing, anyway.

His death had nothing to do with vaccines. Remember, there are many, many vaccines and most of us have had a number of different ones. Which ones you've had generally depends upon your age. I've had polio vaccines, smallpox vaccine, tetanus vaccine. Unfortunately, for many people like me, who were kids in the 1950's, the polio vaccine came along a little too late. Many children of that era were left with paralysis after having polio. Also, we did not have vaccines to protect us from chicken pox or mumps, so I had both. If you're not familiar with chicken pox or mumps, it's because you were vaccinated against them during your childhood. Lucky you. Mumps is extremely painful, really bad. Fortunately, most little kids don't have mumps now because they receive a vaccine. I can't understand why people are whining about vaccines these days. They act like it's a brand new concept. It's not. If you really want to understand what benefit we've had from vaccines, please Google "smallpox," "tetanus," "polio," and "mumps." You will learn so much.

I struggled for 6 years going to different dentists, different doctors, nobody knew what it was The least little fragrance caused my tongue to swell. finally I found a doctor who prescribed " magic mouthwash" so i could eat without tears. The only downside was when the pharmacy made it with sugar which caused me more problems.. When I asked them to make it sugar-free it made such a difference. Ultimately for me it's getting rid of my insulin resistance which took a lot of hard work over the last year, to get rid of the burning mouth almost 100% also using magic mouthwash. One of us should make a KZread video to help other people who went burning mouth. Cuz I was nothing there when I looked.

The thing is I can't make money off it here. And the companies who's supplements you are using will sue you, cuz they can't claim either, but they haven't put like the three ingredients together either. @@ontherun8 I don't think soy should be eaten by humans at all. My wife lost her colon to soy. Soy raises estrogen levels leading to breast and other cancers. Anyone having health problems in your digestive track should be tested for food allergies. Soy is really a health problem when you consider it's in almost all prepared foods, but also in soap, toilet paper, and a whole long list of other items. I heard a doctor say several years ago that "yes, soy does raise estrogen levels, but if you only eat it a couple of times a week you should be Ok". Well most Americans eat it twenty one times a week plus snacks, candy bars and so on. Doctors warn women who have had breast cancer to never eat soy again. People just don't realize what all contains soy. Even Robert Kennedy Jr . talks about soy being a health risk in America. We don't eat any prepared foods if we can help it. We eat real food made from scratch.

I hauled her to the nearest Wendy's and started shoving hamburgers down her. Arthritis cleared up. Soy is not healthy for all the reasons I cited earlier. SDAs worship soy, and that's their right. But all the SDAs I know are not healthy and suffer from joint and digestive problems. But, if you want to eat it go ahead. I might add that the SDA church owns soy food plants, and then tells people it's a sin to eat meat. Not only is that a conflict of interest, it's a lie.
