I wish I still had my FF #1. It was the first Marvel book I bought and read. Bought it when it first hit the newsstands.

My favorite is the First Appearance of the JLA! My LCS has a low grade one, and I look at it with googly eyes every time I walk in haha.

Gene Simmons was childhood friends with Marv Wolfman, they even did some fan-zines together. I met Gene and talked to him about the likes of Joe Sinnott's inks, meeting Ditko, and how his costume was inspired by Black Bolt.

Cool video guys, definitely favorite thing on this video is incredible hawk number one!!

I would be interested in reading the Increadable Hulk for the first time.

It’s crazy to see Hulk be above FF#1 or Showcase. Speaks to how rare the book is in high grade!

Def my favorite thing is the 1st Incredible Hulk cover!!! So amazing. Actually all these covers were truly works of art. My LCS had 1-5 so i was able to see all covers in person. One say fellas ive have some of these lol. Thanks for another solid video.

That hulk run reprint is amazing I wish I could have put some thing like that on my wall wow

Great video. I have a few of the books on this list, but got rid of the #1 this year. I’m good with it though.

Wish there were more DC books on the list and that movie's and tv shows didn't influence the market that much. Got to love the first silver age flash.

Watched your ahow here for the first time. Great job guys! Prices are getting to the point where the small collector isnt able to get some these books. Ive been workong on that Incredible Hulk series actually have been able to aquire 3,5 and 6. Doubt if I'll ever have #1 but I can dream.

This was awesome and that’s what I call scary prices. Have to say one of my all time favorite is the first justice league and hulk 1 tie.

I'm a true Fantastic Four fan throughout - Gotta love the Hulk and with the current title: Immortal Hulk, it's renewed my love for the Green Monster.

I have a question when I was purchasing comics 1975 to 1985 I have a few different comics and they are 35¢ variant and I bought them brand new from a comic store in LA they never mentioned if LA was part of test market?

If I could have any off this list I’d want brave and the bold, showcase, and journey into mystery or even hulk 1!

Tom, you should do an annual recap of these Silver Age books. Primarily focus on the low grade slabs which are STILL obtainable. I saved and scraped for months but DID land a Tales of Suspense 39 2.0. I paid just under $4000, if I could afford it then so can others. This could be inspiring for your audience that feel like these keys are beyond their reach.

Best thing on the list... Incredible Hulk #1. Hulk and Hawkeye are my two favorite characters so I always gotta rep my boys when I can.

I hope these prices don’t turn people off from silver age. There is a ton of good stuff out there you can still pick up on the cheap. Don’t ignore gold key and dell. They have some awesome books.

All great books, I’d take any of em. I remember as a kid thinking how crazy it was that some of these were in the 5K range and thinking how unattainable they seemed. I think the best part of being rich would be to have these wonderful pieces of art and history in your collection.

That Incredible Hulk #1 is classic and amazing!

I think that many of these Marvel books are easier to find in higher grades than corresponding DC books. When GOOD DC movies and shows start coming, I think we’ll see more on this list in the next year or two!

Jared Hayes the DC keys are years earlier then Marvels keys and still can’t get a break in value and like you mentioned should be more difficult to find in high grade. Showcase 4 came out in 1956, 6 years earlier then AF 15.

I've actually read a copy of FF #1, an actual physical copy that would grade at least an 8.0 (obviously I'm estimating over the decades of memory, but it was in really good shape, it was only 10 years old). Of course this was in 1972 and while the book was worth some dinero then, we never envisioned the stratosphere it would reach. In the mid 80s my LCS in Savannah had a copy of AF #15 on the wall. It was very well used, somewhere between a 1.5 and a 2.5. The owner wanted a NM price for it and it never sold (at least in the 8 or so years the shop was open). Those are the only books on that list I've actually seen in real life.

Ocean Rising those are my two favorites as well.

ASM 1 & AF 15 those 2 books would complete my collection no matter what other books I'm missing. For a Spidey fan, what better books could there possibly be? Correct answer is none.

God all these books are so amazing i mean tales suspense and astonish X-Men and hulk 1 and Spidey such amazing Grails can't leave out mystery

Do u think to price a book off 2 sales .... and not to discount like an impulse ,fluke purchase,,, is a reliable way to price identical an future projective sales? I think the comic book world should have a uniform ,agreed on percentage , of which to base values or prices on identical books with such low sales history..... would it help bring reality to shit? What u guys think?

My favorite thing about this list is X-Men #1

I won't be surprised to see a 1.0 AF 15 hit 20,000 in the next 5yrs..it is the book to own. I remeber in 2012 I was stocking up 6-7 copies on these books. Oh it was money well spent lol
