Last week my six year old came home crying from school. I ask her whats up? She asked me why she was born with dark skin and curly hair. Kids at schools told her, her blackness was ugly and that is the reason why there are no black princesses. I ask her, disney has one princes and she is brown? She told me no, im black and not brown... So, I started googling and found your channel. I showed her some of your video and now she is telling everyone she is a nubian princes.. :-) I just wanna thank u for your video's and educating us. :-)

Let me tell you something! Kids learn from their parents amd what they learn is due to the history of their culture. I grew up in an non African and also white european culture that had little to do with slavery. People were not influanced by slavery propaganda. Therefore I grew up without this hateress against dark skinned people. It was actually the opposite. People praised my skin and kind. Also a bit anoying, but still a rather positive experience. The children around my with light skin never feld that my skin was ugly. Never! They really liked and adored it. 'how do you mange to get thay brown complexion' they would asked as dark skin was a sign of health and a lot of holiday and therefore wealth. They liked me and asked me why dark skinned or african people (they never said black, as this is a term used in cultures with slavery hostory) are always so pretty. Well this is positive discrimination, but it shows, that light skinned people just feel dark skinned people are ugly because of propaganda. I grew up beeing proud and happy about my skin complexion and my hair. I was lucky. Then I went to England when I was grown up and suddenly I was confronted with this nonsense about dark skin beeing ugly. A shock to me. I really got scared. But is shows it is a result of cultures that experienced slavery in the past. Beeing dark ment less chances to survive. The culture I grew up in had not these experience. Dark skinned ment a lot of sun and wealth to the people and therefore was sonething to achive. It is not because white people feel like this by nature as my example shows. I nevertheless experienced discrimination, but mostly because Hollywood influenced more and more with time the culture I grew up in. They started to get influenced by American culture and its messages. When I was younger, we were not so exposed to American culture but the influenace grew with time in the nineties... But before this, in the country I grew up people were happy when I wore my hair naturally. They wanted the same. Then moving to England I learned that people here thought of my hair and complexion of inferior or dirty. That is the result of their history not a fact, that it appears naturally to other cultures as such. I am glad to grew up in a culture that excepted my hair and color. Do not feel offended. Understand why. What we consider beautiful is the product of our society but is not the thruth. All humans are prettt but we go through an indoctrination of what to find pretty or not and this varies from culture to culture. If you do not fit in, you face discrimination. I am sorry for your child to experience this, but this is not how the whole world feels and it is not reallity. In the past, felat people were pretty or women with small breast. In the 80ies women were supposed to have flat asses and slander hips. They were clothes that made their shoulders look wider like a man. Now it is the oppisite. It is all propaganda. I assume you are from America or England or any of those countries and those people have been brain washed over centuries.

We know that the Greeks had a great civilization and there is plenty of proof of that. Just visit any museum in any big city of the world and you will see everywhere the Greek civilization. Anyway, that's all those museums have to show, since they have nothing of their own. The Greeks left. behind a lot of their civilization, not only in art but also in science, math, medicine etc. if there was such a big civilization in Africa, where are the remains?? What did they leave behind?? And I mean their civilization, not stolen. But theirs. I don't know of anything. Do you??

You can't derive an ought from an is and stories from the past can help us with the problems of the present in ways science never will. As a South Sudanese (btw that's the name that the outside world calls us or our country) and being from that region (literally my peoples history) the names (Nubian, Kushite, Ethiopian, and Ta seti,) are all describing the same region, (Nilothic people's or the land they walked on). But the difference is the time period that those names existed as a label for the people in that region, or country. And depending on the time period, those names changed often and all throughout history. South Sudanese to this day still call themselves janubene (meaning people of the bow) Nubia literally translates to land of the bow. Same with the name Ta-seti. I'm not making this up. This is literally my culture. And I see a lot of people who haven't even been to my country telling my peoples history. This gentlemen in this video actually did his research and got most but not all of this history spot on. My people who have always lived in this region have always called themselves janubene. And most foreigners that encountered them called them Nubians. What we call God, in the western world (lady justice) we call Neith, Neilith in my language(meaning the one above all cause we dont have a name for God,) she's the mother of amenra, the sun God (which is why we say amen or ameen in prayers) she's the first Goddess that created the universe. her symbol is that of a female gender sign. A sun abov two crossed arrows. Even to this day you look up her image, that is what she's holding in her hand. To this day her statue stands in most courtrooms and it's called lady justice. "Our God" from the land of the bow.

It's not about her if she is black or african, it's about the so called ancient greeks, her genes prove that her antcestors were from Africa and she is not afraid to admit it and not to please the eurocentric, ancient greece is a 19th century myth, you can not find nothing written mentioning greece in ancient times, only referring to the so called greeks, but nothing greek about it, it's pure african culture, as the builder of Athens the great Sesostris III was a black pharaoh, there are scultures from the man, you can searchy and find the truth, but can you accept it.

To rebuttle a question a gentlemen had about African's, "If they had a civilization then where is the evidence in the forms of ancient artwork, artifacts, and what not" which is a fair question. And will give the benefit of the doubt of that assumption. To be fair and not to sound rude. But if one must ask that question (and not to patronize the individual and if I caused those feeling, I apologize) but in the day and age we live in with unlimited knowledge at our finger tips. One simply has to type into a search engine "ancient African civilizations" ancient African artifacts." Ancient African arts and painting." Not only that but the millions of African artifacts in European museums. You can literally walk into any one of them today and see these pieces for yourself with your own eyes. A privilage most African aren't granted to. thier own history. The real question should be " would you accept the findings if you did your own study"? If not then what would be the difference between the history presented of African history or European history from the same source?? To assume some societies never had a civilization disregarding evidential proof are traits of insecurity. That why most empires resorted to burning libraries (like the burning of the library of Alexandria) for an example. It is seen as factual evidence of a society that one feels must be erased from history.

deftones 26 Most likely because, Africa wasn't united. Like the Native Americans, African tribes were constantly warring against each other making it easy for European and Middle Eastern powers to conquerer certain parts of Africa. This is what I think at least. I'm not 100% sure.

+deftones 26 Some you win. Some you lose. Africa is the center of the world; both literally and figuratively. It has more natural resources than any other continent. So it only stands to reason that it would also attract the most formidable enemies. Africa has been a magnet for the most powerful empires throughout human history. I would hardly call a section of Africa being conquered by the Romans, The Persians, the Ottomans, or the English a dishonorable defeat. Be proud that you come from a race that has fought almost every major empire in human history (and, in some cases, even won). No one else can say that. Look at today. China, which is on the rise and set to surpass the United States as the worlds biggest superpower. What continent do they have their eyes on? Africa! The problem with living in Africa is living under constant attack. No wonder Africa was conquered so many times they were probably exhausted from constantly fighting off invaders.

because we can't unite even regionally like north, west, etc... But I think Creator made it that way. we are supposed to be the nuturers, the cradle of the world so we have to be more accepting cause the world needs us and our resources just be smarter to not distribute to our own demise.

Why is everyone lately against the Greek history??? I'll tell you why. Because they want to change history. It bothers some people that the Greeks are a very old nation, maybe the oldest. It bothers them that civilization started from Greece. It's hard to change history, but as long as there are stupid and uneducated people they are going to make it. They are not only going to change Greek history, but they are going to steel it. Look what is happening with Macedonia. They are steeling the name and they want to steel the history. With great help of course from other big countries. They have to show that they are the oldest and smartest nation and I don't mean the Skopians, so they have a right to rule the world, since they are above all. Who are they?? Put your mind to work and you'll figure it out.
