The book was even better, I read it in like 2009 at 13, also discovered Vince Flynn's American assassin and the odd Thomas books back then, all of which became great movies and films.

I agree about Daredevil and The Punisher. If you put the 2 together you get 6 seasons of some awesome action.

Taboo is one of the best TV shows I've seen. Hardy has never been better......a must see.

ive just finished prson of interest and im gutted. think its probably the best series ever!

Jack Ryan was a hard pass for me. Hard to stop picturing the male lead outside of The Office. Couldn't take him seriously as a tough guy. Wrong build, wrong character.

Banshee gotta be the best of the bunsh. 10/10

Loved The Punisher. If you put Daredevil and The Punisher together you get 6 seasons of some awesome action.

I like the series as well. But the description provided here in the video is not the Amazon show, season 1 nor season 2. Did AI just pull a summary from the 2012 movie with Tom Cruise or the book One Shot which the series has not used yet. Killing floor (S1) and bad luck and trouble (S2).

Not Taboo, especially with Season 2 & 3 on the way 🤯 Banshee, Jack Ryan, POI, Terminal List, are all way better ! No Into the Badlands ? I'm a Warrior fan. If you like 24 you should watch Designated Survivor & Rabbit Hole with Keffer Southerland great shows IMO

Vikings and Vikings Valhalla are both so filled with historical inaccuracy and revisionism that it should be a crime to call any of it historical. It's rather fantasy.

Very good list but there are a bunch missing or that should replace some shows on here like Strike Back, Spartacus, Warrior and Daredevil/ The Punisher both shows together makes up 6 seasons of one awesome action packed show replacing Taboo, Hunters, Vikings : Valhalla and The Blacklist. I have Banshee at # 1 it very well could be my favorite show of all time or atleast 1B behind GOT. Obviously this is just my opinion we all have our favorites whether they are on best list or not.

Just because something has some action in it, doesn't make it an action series, Taboo ia prime example. Someone going into that expecting sword fights and explosions is in for a shock (even though it does have them)

Season 1 was enjoyable - though clichéd and a little predicable. Season 2 is a downgrade.

Taboo, banshee def top but missing the foooking peaky blinders Tom Hardy in that show amazing…Quarry also great…the original Vikings awesome…the wire….Spartacus…Rome….the shield…SOA and the Mayans…ok let me stop there loool😅

But there are other great criminal thrillers such as mind hunter, Dexter, severance, narcos, breaking bad(all time great to me), Ozark. It's hard to put up a ranking on them, but I will for sure. Spartacus. 5. Warrior. 6. Gangs of London. 7. The Boys. 8. The Terminal List. 9. The Night Agent. 10. Vagabond. 11. Bodyguard. 12. Bloodhounds. 13. Attack on Titan ( If you haven't watched it just because you don't watch Anime, you are missing out.) 14. Peacemaker. Notable Mentions: 1. Alex Rider 2. Condor. 3. Parasyte: The Grey 4. Yu Yu Hakisho. 5. Renegade Nell.( It is not pure action, but it is fun.) 6. Fauda. 7. Reacher. I believe Vikings, Game of Thrones are much more than action hence should not be included in an action list. Taboo is far from Action ( anything with some action is not an action series.) It is something else entirely and brilliant. Person of Interest is unique and amazing but not the first thing to suggest something for action. It is better suited in a list with series like Mr. Robot etc.

While "Vikings:Valhalla" was good, the series on Netflix called "The Last Kingdom" is so much better (IMBD 8.5 rating). I've gotten so many people addicted to that show.

I wouldn't include any television series in a list like this. Network TV is too lame to lay claim to "Best" series. You have to realize who is in these shows as well, and if you support who they are as human beings, never mind actors.

The plot of the REACHER series is different. You gave the plot of the Tom Cruise film of the same name
