TOOLBOX TOURS (FOOD PRODUCTION LINE MECHANIC)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

A small tour of my 32" Bluepoint slide-top tool box, along with a newly acquired matching 30" Blue-Point single drawer service cart i just finished setting up.
More in depth tour coming in a few more tool hauls, POSSIBLY a bigger box? STAY TUNED!!

Perfect, I’m truly glad you liked it! More in depth in a few tool hauls! Hopefully a few little clips of what I do on a day to day here at the plant! Stay tuned!

@leomarq looking forward, I work a winery but can't show anything. Wish I could since we got so many different machines old and new.

Top notch setup. I was looking into that slide top. I wanted it because of that top storage area but when you have it layed out it is really too deep. I use a lot of VIM magrails. I’d probably line the inside of the sides with magrails to expand the space. I got my first slide tops couple weeks ago. Found a used cornwell cart that’s 39in wide x 24in deep x 47in height.

Appreciate it, sir! Yes, unfortunately I don’t have enough power tools to fill in the top just yet, as I feel it best suits as a power tool drawer and charging station. I actually did end up changing the set up for my sockets since I posted this, loading up some of the magnetic rails for my 1/4” sockets on the inside wall of the top compartment, it now completely freed up one side of the top and looks much more uniform ! We are thinking alike sir! 🍻Love Cornwell boxes for they’re custom designs! Cornwell is a quality company !

Nice setup, I work on commercial kitchen and laundry equipment. I work In wet environments a lot and wash my tools off with soap and water or disinfectant wipes. I am looking at getting into stainless tools. I believe Tone and Koken make some. Do food plants not require stuff like?

We aren’t expect to be completely stainless (i.e. plastic or rubber handles, insulated tools are no issue) only tool “regulation” is no wood handles for obvious reasons, and yes we must disinfect all tools before working on certain machines. Koken is a very reputable company just don’t own them personally, I’m sure they offer! Cheers🍻

Why not cheaper tool boxes and Snap-on tools?

Hello there, personally, I like to think of the resale value SnapOn holds. I don’t sell tools, haven’t yet, but I know that most of my money can be returned, especially since I don’t buy at retail price. I was able to get both box and cart for a total of 710$ dollars about 2 months apart on an app called offer up (550$ for slide top and 160$ for the service cart, well over 2100$ on SnapOn.com currently still available on site) so honestly I paid less then a US general 6 drawer and US general single drawer service cart, but that’s me being patient and searching for deals, some just simply like the warranty from harbor! Nothing wrong with that! Cheers bud, thanks for commenting!
