Thank you Thomas! This was one of the craziest wildest performances we ever experienced. Easily. I couldn’t help but just stare in stunned silence though most of this performance. We’ve never seen Maynard like that we had no clue how insanely captivating he is on stage. We saw their live performance of Sober but that was rookie level Compared to this. This performance was the 3rd eye. Can’t thank you enough for the support man! 👁️

Tool in their prime? Yes please. I wasn’t at this particular show but the first time I saw them in my late teens was definitely on this tour. It changed me for good ✌🏼

Hooooly. I've never actually seen this version and my word it delivered. Like I've heard Third Eye a thousand times and this still gave me goosebumps. Absolute genius. Anyone catch Maynard signaling to Danny holding up four fingers for the amount of times he'll sing "prying open my third eye at the end"? I believe it's seven on the album.

Blows the studio version out of the water for me!! This version just carries so much energy and the bass line hits so hard...so saw raw and visceral.

See that stomp at the end? Decades of that is why he had his knee and hip replaced. Peak Maynard's intensity will never be topped.

Tool channeled a higher power for their salival concert. I am envious of anyone who saw this concert live. You lied is one of my favorite tool performances ever and it’s a cover.

Being the showman Maynard said in an interview that he wanted to know his feminine side, a sorta walk a mile in one's shoe deal. Tool has always been his most aggressive masculine side, A perfect Circle his more feminine side, and Puscifer his comical side. The bras and high heels were a statement that most of Tool's fans didn't quite get it.

The fact this video is absolute prime Tool and the sound quality is the icing on the cake. Was lucky enough to see them for the 1st time in this time frame. Was hooked immediately..I knew i witnessed something one of a kind and special...Tool live now is great but nothing like the golden days!

I saw this live back on the Aenima tour in the mid 90s. This was the opening song.

I saw them do this one once back in New Orleans at the beginning of a tour in 2010 I think. unbelievable performance! Maynard forgot to grab the mic at the beginning and everyone was laughing and he was too lol

only missed 1 album tour and loved how you never knew what they were gonna give you till maynard hit the stage. then 1 day maynard slowly started moving back from the front and center. music expanded and recent shows are more ethereal, but old school tool shows were raw in comparison and glorious.

This song took so long to sync with me, but now I swear I listen to this song probably every other day. When I listened to this specific version, it almost instantly synced with it. It's like the studio version has some sort of disconnect between band members, but the live version everything flows so well!

I think so, too. Clearly it’s the audio from Salival. There’s a few spots where the video doesn’t quite sync up and gives it away. Helluva job though!

Amazing live performance and I think this song was tough even for them. I think it might be their track with the most mistakes made playing it live, or it's up there on the list. The ending on this track is one of my favorite parts of any song Tool has ever done.
