With lots of help, i was able to build 7 steel tool stands for machines in my workshop. I bought the bases (wheel rims) on Craigslist, and bought the steel at a scrap yard. Then lots of cutting, grinding and welding. Then more cleaning, oiling, and sealing with Penetrol.
I'm very happy with how the stands turned out and love always having my tools out and ready to use, rather than unplugged and on a shelf under my workbench.
