What can you say? Another masterpiece! This is rock music for the ages
"a warrior struggling" "now this armor is wearing thin....heavy shield, down" lyrics we can all relate to
ENTIRE ALBUM IS A KICKASS MASTERPIECE!!! WELL WORTH THE 13 YEAR WAIT. Tool NEVER disappoints
That “distorted guitar” is a bass solo 😁

I am ending the age old argument of Tools "Genre"...Tools Genre is: Tool.
8:51, that guitar riff goes all the way back to 1996 from Hooker with a Penis, to 2006, with Jambi, to 2019, with this banger.
The drums in the second half of this song are simply nasty.. holy hell this guy isn't human. My favorite song off the album. Great reaction!
I have only one complaint regarding this album... There isn't enough of it!!!

Seen this live at download back in June and maaan it was good haha, sick to FINALLY hear the studio version. Sorta reminds me of Right In Two in parts.
Majestic. Grande. Musical. Passionate. Heavy. Beautiful. Freeing. Memorable. This song speaks to my soul. Its serious but funky. Groovy. What a masterpiece of music.
🙌🏻 when he said “struggling to remain relevant”, the first time, and you looked at the camera, I felt that! You got that! Isn’t it just epic?!?! I’m a fan!!! This album blows me away! *also, yeeeeesssss!!!! Anything I could say to describe them would not be worthy! It’s so hard to describe. So glad you did the whole album!!! Thank you dude!!!!
LOL. That false ending got you.
Tool is an experience. This is a masterpiece of an album.
8:16 That my friend is bass
That guitar tone at 4:50.....melts my ears...... loving it....
I cannot stop listening to the album, just fucking blown away.I don't feel like going to listen anything else for a long while
New sub when you talked about not pausing and actual tool fans reacting to tool.
This song seems to be the most impactful to maynard. His voice sounds beautiful, anxious, and fearful all at once.
I can't think of a way to make this song more musically perfect PS:i wish you will ready for 7empest
The entire tool catalogue belongs in the library of congress, every possible time capsule, and a place on every Sagan record in whatever form those golden discs now appear..
Subbed! Cant wait to see your reaction to the rest man. I feel you on this. You can only get this experience with Tool So unique. PS That's not a distorted guitar, that's a bass solo my friend. Cheers!

Slipknot, Tool, Korn (not for me, but I respect what they did and how big they are), Jinjer, and dont' forget... Gojira is coming up with a new album as well, possibly early 2020, they're in the final stages of recording/mixing.. what a great time to be a metalhead!

Just stumbled into your channel today. Damn your reactions really are genuine. Really surprised your channel isnt waaaaay bigger. Yea man it seems to me like metalheads just think it all builds too slowly and isnt constantly intense and full of screaming so they just piss on it pretty much. I loved this song except for around the 9th and 10th minute ot just held onto the same slow chug for too long. Otherwise its amazing. Also.......I just feel bad for your Cavs lol. I'm a Jazz fan so it's not like my team has anything to talk about other than refusing to tank and being a cute 2nd round exit after Donovan Mitchell fell out of the sky into their lap lol.

Can we all just agree that it’s just time to admit that MJK is a music God, and TOOL is the greatest band of all time?
I am glad to be alive!
I just gotta say, the bass/guitar and drums at around the nine and a half minute mark of the song is pretty complicated musically, and I'm still trying to figure out if the beginning of the song is in 7/8, then the later part is 7/4 with a drum polyrhythm of 4/4, or if the beginning part is in 7/16, then the later part is 7/8 with a drum polyrhythm of 8/4 and 6/4.
TOOL is the bar 👊

I’m not a metal fan because I grew up in Atlanta. It’s hip hop rap pop or country there lol, but anyway I saw APC last year and I was moving like it was R&B. This album sounds like APC to me, it’s dark and melodic doesn’t seem very metal?? Iooks like I have another reason to see him soon

For me its ok to pause, as long as you start earlier than you stop. But can you listen to a song properly if u pause, that I dont know. I wonder too, did they use the weakest song for a single? Just to really show off.
2 people hate incredible music...
idk about that dude, you seem to be trying to understand this song confusing bass with guitar (?) and then say "great transition'' WUT
Still can't pick if this or Descending is my fav track.. Goes back an fourth.. Slipknot can't touch tool album wasn't great.. Korn is one of my all time favs and that album was meh.. I liked S.O.S. more.
This is my least favorite of the album though it's still brilliant. No offense to Maynard but I would have no problem with an all instrumental album.
only good song on the album idk the other ones are really long with nothing that really talks to me

PRIDE I would give songs like Pneuma, Culling Voices and 7empest another go, trust me those 3 alone are masterpieces. I love invincible and Descending but to me those are the 2 most ‘generic’ TOOL tracks on the album. This doesn’t mean they are bad, no no no, they are FANTASTIC. Oh man thats exactly how i felt listening to 10000 days and undertow, but the one rule of thumb i've developed with tool is, the most boring or repulsive songs are gonna be your favorites in 2 weeks-2 months, once you find the nuance your addicted. thats just my experience though, and my first listening to this album my jaw dropped during each song so idk maybe this one's different.
