My drumming bud just got a set 100% custom made from scratch by a local drum maker who only makes one set a year. The tone is so incredible and loud. Louder than any set of Tama or Pearl i have ever heard. He has about 10K into his kit.

After all these years, this is still the performance that just blows me away!

I've always admired the coordination that drummers have. Especially banging out a Tool track. That was rock solid!

From a fellow professional drummer -- You are incredible. I don't think many people understand quite the difficulty in mastering these compositions. It's much easier to put your own twist (for me anyways) when playing any song (cover) -- But to match it lick for lick,.. pitch/timber.. attack angle,, etc to the "T" if you will is incredibly difficult. I did find myself thinking you looked awkward or uncomfortable in your playing style when I first watched you .. but after going through your videos in entirity -- I see this is just you! -- Also,.. your speed and not overplaying (wasting energy) is fantastic! Keep the songs coming, along with solo's, and any original stuff. Although I know covers are what pay the bills and what the "majority" of viewers would like to see.

All of her performances are top notch, but glad she chose this song for the outdoor session; despite all its challenges that were presented she owned that!!

The joy with which she plays is outstanding! Danny Carey smiles once a concert. She miles and enjoys every beat. Danny is the genius, she's the demonstration of joy.

It doesn't matter how many times I see this video, I'm always utterly blown away in equal measure each time. It's just so perfectly shot and what a location.. Anybody who knows someone who's thinking about getting into playing the drums.. This is the video they need to see..

I'm very impressed that she can make a Danny Carey drum part look easy -- his parts are among the most technical I've come across in his genre.

Most incredible talent, timing and dynamics are incredible. Years ago I played with a percussionist who amazed me, you could keep time with his beat, and I can tell you have the same qualities in your performances. Your videos never cease to amaze, so incredible. Thank you. And your smiles are so addictive! OH WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So potent. So freaking powerful. One thing I notice, I have seen Danny play live before and he is so relaxed throughout the entire performance. So were you, to the point where it seemed like it was being pulled off with so little effort. I've been a mad Tool fan for over 20 years now and I still can't keep up with their tempos, even as a musician. To me, that is saying how intricate their craft is ( Duh! ) and you obviously get it. If you are taking requests, Lateralus please.

thanks Christie---i came up with 70s rock mostly, before anyone had a drum machine or anything like that, however, i had been encouraged to by one myself in 1990, and it certainly helped my time and so forth, but one has to be careful to not over use it and loose the human dynamic/feel, which i think Meytal has done very well.

props. young lady. tool is a difficult band to emulate

I've honestly probably watched this cover around 40 times in the last 9 years or so - It's insanely good. If you're a drummer, then you know - Danny Carey's time signatures are insanity, very very hard to play. He does the weirdest things with his drumming, and it's definitely a level 10 difficulty. She nails this - No missed timing, no misses on any cymbals, toms, base, crashes, etc. Not all drum covers of Tool songs can say that. They usually improvise or miss something along the way, but Meytal doesn't miss anything lol. Awesome stuff, 10/10
