As a non-Tool and Die Maker and not even a Professional Machinist (I'm a home shop machinist ;), I did surprisingly well, except for the G-code questions. I guess I've learned a lot from running punch presses while in High School and being a Tool Design Engineer at the start of my career! This was a very interesting video and more like it will be useful for your viewers.

The “C” washer is used for fast removal. A standard round washer is used for securing.

what type of reference book are you referring to? The book that has all of the requirements, the sign off book those are all online and available through the ministry

1018 is steel with .18% carbon. Therefore this type of steel is more suitable than the other types of steel for case hardening. The last two digits represent the carbon contacts in hundreds Hopefully this helps Ray
