Beginner here! What is the L for above the numbers?

Hi! The L stands for “low” finger, so you just move your finger half a step down on the fingerboard to create a lower pitch (down a semitone). You can also sometimes see H written in violin tab too, which means “high” finger, so you’d stretch your finger up half a step instead. Hope that helps, and enjoy the tabs! 👍

This is amazing and easy to undresrtand, I hope u'll do more songs, bcs I would definitely want to learn that from u, already subscribing. If u don't know what to play I would love anything from Billie Eilish, there are fans of her everywhere and I think more people would like to see a good tutorial like this one.
