TOO OLD to LEARN Electric Unicycle? Teaching More Beginners to Ride With New Training Brushes.

Спорт

I love teaching others to ride electric unicycles -- especially those who think they could never learn! In this video, you'll meet my next victim -- a 60 year old man who's eager to ride.
We are also trying out some training brushes we learned out from Adam U (linked below).

I never want to trust electronics to keep me upright so I am looking towards Apollo scooters. It is hard to beat a 29" wheel kit build eBike, but there is something special about riding standing up and a scooter works to get that feel without worrying about cut off or not being able to dodge a car that pulls out in front of you. I still have not found a video showing someone on a wheel leap from one lane to the other really fast in dodge mode.

This confirms my suspicion that sticking to my scooter with sturdy handle is my best course of action. The unicycle is tempting because you can likely carry it into office buildings and theaters where scooters are not welcomed. I'll pass because even if I get ok, it's unobservant walkers and drivers that would mess me up.

  • @pepperfingers

I actually feel safer on this than I do my scooters. The larger wheels of the EUC allow me to roll over obstacles easier preventing falls. Also, with a scooter, the handle bar and long platform are not your friends if you do fall. That said, I think both are great.
