When the opponent plays a bomb deck, the obvious choice for you is to play a control deck that draws it's entire deck and relies on fatigue i can see absolutely nothing wrong with that kappa

I just used my highlander hunter deck I use on ladder and won first try lol. No need to fancy stuff. As for the second boss I used this deck I made designed to shuffle as many Flik's as possible into your hand and deck. won first try. @@mrapex5426 Wait, is Toast actually more popular? I absolutely stopped watching anything of his a few years ago and every time I see any of his videos' thumbnails and titles I am even more convinced that it was the correct decision. If only the clickbaiting and such was the problem it would be ok, but his whole persona is now basically a personification of his clickbaiting, which makes him extremely obnoxious in all sorts of ways. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that Trump barely cares about what Toast does (especially considering that it sure seems like Toast barely does anything Hearthstone-related recently) - Trump was always a bit of a M A D M A N, but as with many HS players as of late, the game is getting pretty boring when you're just doing the same stuff for years so many people start trying to have fun in more unconventional ways like "Yeah, I *could* just play this deck and win, but... I could also play _this_ meme deck and see if I can or can't eventually win with it anyway". Speaking from experience, btw.

I beat ever single boss with un edited mechathun priest. The only one that took multiple tries was Reno as he rolled Duel 3 games in a row and got my combo each time.

@@JohnSmith-gk8vd Warlock is good, it's the one that most quickly assembles the combo after all. The main issue is surviving till T10, but other than that it's easy.

The giants don't have taunt rush etc. and there's no way the boss could give them it correct? Who cares if they have 7 8/8s on the field if you only need to get 3 dmg through next turn. I guess there's quite a bit of freeze spells that could ruin your game but not bad. That being said seeing Ebon win con was way more interesting. Good on em

Why is plate breaker not in your deck?

I got extremely lucky on the Avalanchan, used a basic Galakrond Priest deck based off a "Convincing Infiltrator." Off an invoke, got Katrina & made sure the Infiltrator was the only minion to die for a few turns with a "Grave Rune/Shadowy Figure" combo. Use a "Spirit of the Dead" to keep shuffling them back into the deck and you are good to fatigue him down. He will throw down all of the molten giants at once at the end, but the fully invoked Galakrond to smurf down 4 of them. If you have Katrina, it would make it a lot easier. Priest seems to be the easier route for all the heroics.

If you wanted to play a version of the dead mans that neutralized the bombs without killing itself, you could always play the 2 mana transmogrifier. While you still run the risk of drawing it with one in play, you can shuffle in some and draw them.

how do I find the deck code to fight heroic avalanchan?

When he didn't kill the 3/1 water ele that wasn't silenced in order to set up lethal I died a little bit inside

Even the heroic was too easy this time around... Used Highlander rogue and didn't have to make a single adjustment yet and walked right through every match.

I won with Standard Galakrond Highlander Rouge my first try. I don't really think this boss needs a builder around deck unless I got lucky?

Plate breaker is a 5 mana 5/5 deal 30 sometimes and alexstraza can be broken against bosses like the one with 120 health

shuffle rogue should be able to do decently against boom, simply because that deck hits the deck limit and.. pretty much NEVER loses it again meaning the bombs can't get shuffled in (animation still plays but it isn't added) and even IF it was added the deck is already so full of stuff you are EXTREMELY unlikely to ever draw a bomb

I just used resurrect priest and I handled nearly every boss in one try, only one that gave me some trouble was the one boss that gave his minions cannot be targeted and reborn. I just removed the targeted spells and went for AOE and mass dispels and he was easy enough.

I just beat everything with Standard Treant Druid because I was too lazy to build any custom decks. Except for Avalanchan. Turns out punchy tree boys are not so good against constant 8/8s.

Why on earth does he not have executes in this deck?

Nah, molten just cares about life total. That’s why healing reverses the discount

I'm glad that Trump has gone with more unique and themed decks to give more challenge to these battles because otherwise this would be a snooze fest. Also in general I like seeing Mad Deck Scientist Trump trying out diffrent decks.

You don't. You just pick whatever Standard or Wild deck you play and own the adventure in one go. Unless you're Trump, in which case you'll spend 30 minutes on the first boss for no good reason.

yeah I wish they stuck to dungeon run type games. At least when you bought those you get to make decks along the way, I don't own a lot of good cards so why bother buying this.

@@kacamac To be fair, this sort of thing is a lot of fun if you have sufficient cards. I think back on heroic Naxx and Blackrock Mountain fondly, having to come up with very specific decks to counteract how strong the bosses' decks were. It's just unfortunate that with ~6 years of cards under their belt now, it's hard to balance a heroic between newer players, and players with so many options at their disposal.

I beaten every boss with my budget-Galakrond-priest-deck. (Budget is whatever hearthstone can build automatically with my cards^^) Zilliax is my only legendary. And I'm really not a good player. So yes, heroic is quite easy. :D

Yup. You can literally just pick any standard deck and beat those bosses with not much effort. Trump is overthinking this way too much. This is not the same heroic mode as it was in previous adventures.

I used Deathrattle Rogue for most of the bosses

The best strat for the 2nd heroic good boss is the use Flik Skyshiv with bounce effects and scheme. The boss only has a couple minions that matter and virtualy 0 early game. if you can use 4 fliks you win the game. Don't do any damage the first 7 turns and it can't play molten giants, at that point hopefully you got Flik + some bounce and you win. Beat the boss on my first try with that deck and it was throw together in a horrible way. it needs some fine tuning but here was the deck I used: AAECAYO6AgTn+gKImwO3rgPBrgMNmgLtAssD6vMCqPcCx/gCyfsCzowDr5EDgKYD9acDvq4DnbYDAA==

I manage to complete all with jade druid except for finley And the elemental guy I use dragon priest

I'm having a hard time with kriziki. I want to try embiggen druid but I don't have the cards. I also don't have psychic scream, plague of death, or most of these silence cards. Just wanna keleseth, embiggen, breath of dreams and high roll him. I know I'm supposed to craft them but I don't really want to craft something for an adventure only. I literally just restart when I see embiggen turn 1 as well. Maybe I should just try a standard deck like galakrond warrior after reading these comments. nvm finally got it

I miss the days of the old adventure sets. It was a small curated selection of about 30 cards. A lot of the cards were impactful and special in their own ways. Gone were the days of chaff and packfiller. They were always fun to play through. I liked dungeon run the first 2 of 5 times they released it. At some point it was just a repetitive formula that gave me nothing new to build around.

Like, is Trump trying to meme or something? How is the obvious pick against Dr Boom not "something with higher tempo than the opponent"? Jade+Dragon druid was super easy, and I'm pretty sure if you refined it more or abused the restart function you could have an even easier time with early high tempo plays (like a turn 1 8/8 VC if you got exactly two Counterfeit Coins and a Prep).

Mecha'Thun Warlock and priest is EZmode for the first wing in heroic

Psychic scream is so powerful vs these decks, i beat em all with mechathun priest and warlock...tried some other versions, control warrior and dk pally but Mecha'Thun was the way to go.....btw its way too easy for heroic mode

Avslanch is so hard on heroic

Death rattle N’zoth mill rogue worked on all the bosses

I beat ever heroic mode with Galakrond warrior, any boss with armor put in platebreaker, for the elemental put in brawls, plague of wrath, and Alex, easy gg

did that. i feel like i used the most unlikely decks. first after failing a ton i used plottwist lock to beat finley. then used burgle rogue for all other bosses until kriziki where i used hack the system warrior (jea don´t ask me why that of all things worked) my favorite was beating avalanche by basicly removing his deck by shuffling a ton of flicks into my deck.

29:40 If Trump had traded the recruit into the non-silenced Water Elemental, he would've had lethal on the next turn since he could've hit with the weapon too (even if the remaining elemental traded).
