Watch Too Late For Tears (1949) Full Movie on The Film Detective. Lizabeth Scott turned in what many consider her finest role in this shocking noir about a woman who finds herself in possession of stolen money. When a dangerous character named Danny Fuller (Dan Duryea) tracks her down and claims the money is his, she’s determined to hang onto her stash. a truly fabulous film noire , with all the stars at their very best and a great script ...dan duryea went into fims knowing that he was no great looker , and that he would have to rely totally on his acting ability to make it ....and he more than made it !

Great find. And this copy actually has audio. Lizabeth Scott, for whatever reasons, didn't care for this film. Too bad, she's never been better. Duryea is wonderful, as usual. Ty.

Lizabeth Scott keeps this intriguing with the multiple sides of her character. Her motives aren't good, but we can understand why she feels that way. She commits horrible crimes, but she's tormented enough that we still feel, she's someone we can relate to. She's just as doomed as her victims by her own greed, and the feeling of her knowing that hangs over the entire movie

My favorite line in : too late for tears, was when Dan told Scott don’t ever change Tigger, I don’t think I’d like you with a heart ,but she was too narcissistic to see that he was talking about her, and who was the other guy that was trying to date her husband‘s sister Scott sister-in-law I’ve never care for his acting Disney play is Hazel‘s employer? I think that’s why I didn’t watch that though I like Shirley Booth.

Dan Durya was a amazing man in my book, superb actor, man, "Terror street" now that's a gem right there right along with this one here and of course many others, some movies you wanted to kill him and in others protect him, now that's acting.
