Gee, KZread, are you sure you put enough ads in? I mean, why should I be allowed to see this cleverly written, most deliciously and professionally acted classic film without being subjected to more assaults on my sensibilities, as you try to peddle your schlock? You people make oil company executives look like models of culture and civility.

Growing up in Chicago I loved when on Sunday afternoon which they called Family Classics that were usually introduced by someone. Most movies were boring but once in a while you got an adventure movie or even better a science fiction movie.

They cannot do them like that anymore : amusingly charming yet not frivolous, sentimental yet not to the point of queasiness, leaving the audience in a blissful glow, reconciled with life. Those were the times…

Almost every episode is about capitalism being used, one way or another. It screams out for stricter government regulation of all finance. If for no other reason than to reduce the fraud. Otherwise it's just anarchy.

I'm trying to watch this video but someone sabotaged it by adding commercials. They are relentless. They won't allow the video to play.

These old Dragnets are hysterical, especially the way the public is portrayed. Also, the use of big wall calendars from the local mortuaries always bring a laugh. The writers must’ve been having a time!

Part of the inspiration for some of these scams is capitalism itself. The fundamental purpose is pitched as a way to get rich without doing labor. Just like the scam.

Freddie Bartholome was one of the best child actors in that era. His parents spent all his money. By the time he got out of his teens he was broke. It’s a wonderful thing to see his movies. Thanks for sharing. Loved watching it ❤
