It really is an amazing pieceof kit! I mean yeah I build my own FPV drones and fly them but there is something about the DJI FPV Drone that I love. Thanks 5Zero7 RC!

I prefer my home built FPV Freestyle drone for most of the time, but there are some situations where the DJI FPV drone is great. It has an amazing FPV feed, the range is crazy, and the return to home if you do lose signal is very reliable. Also being able to change your FPV camera angle as you fly is kinda fun :)

I've been flying in sub 20° weather lately here in Colorado!

Good info. I'm getting "insufficient power" warnings halfway through battery cycle. Temps between 5F and 25F and 7500' elevation.

-10 in alaska today about to fly again, flew it last night in -5

With the FPV I had a feeling the low temp is more of a blanket rule. I figured the heat generated would help protect the drone, except for the propellers.

HOLD UP??????????? YOU CAN FLY FROM INSIDE YOUR CAR?!?!?!?!?!?!?! it has no problems????? seriously? totally buying this.

Yep, you sure can. Total range is reduced a little bit, but you can fly most FPV drones just fine from inside your car.

As a person who works in manufacturing where specifications are present; there is always a safety factor involved. No doubt the drones are the same

Nice to meet you. Flying a drone on a cold day. It's very cold here in Korea. hands are tight.

I usually fly midji fpv at minus 10 degrees and no problem

Amazing flight what cam angle you fly to avoid props on frame ? or crop in later in post ?

Not sure what camera angle I was flying as I adjust it all the time. Maybe around 20 degrees? I didn't do anything special to crop out the props. What you see is what was recorded.

How brittle are the props?

The colder it gets, the more brittle most plastic becomes. As long as you don't hit anything, it should not be a problem. With my other FPV drone I have noticed that hitting branches with the props on really cold days ends up with a broken prop instead of a bent or dented one. I have not hit any trees with this DJI FPV drone yet thankfully :)

Thanks for the video! I acutually have hit branches in a tree, with the DJI FPV, at 0°(+/- 5°) and I have had them break off and the drone then continued to fall to the ground :(

@@5zero7RC Nothing else broke...was just trying to sink down to the ground through the trees, and then decided to go back up....hit the branches and broke the props. I was not up more than 20 feet. :)

I think this video is the coldest weather I have flow the DJI FPV drone in. So about -10F. I have flown other drones I have built in about -20F.
