ND did not have 90% of their scoring offense. Only 2 of 11 starters on offense played that game with our third-string QB@@brianmcmeat1306

Man Notre Dame's Running Back room is really good

6:28 J Love took every single linebacker with him on that option lmaoo... they had all the details covered this game, Faison's route was beautiful too. Love that they came so prepared with all the new postseason dynamics in play. Most of our gamechangers sit out, busy recruiting transfers, early signing day, guys leaving in the portal and freeman still had them ready to go. Im sure Oregon St also was down players as well, but it just shows that ND had a good combination of depth/preparation, great way to end off a frustratingly fun season lol

I understand that both teams were playing with backups, but I am more impressed with how this bunch executed, especially on the offensive side of the ball. I have mad respect for Hartman, but I would have loved to see more consistency. Even in the easy games he made some throws or decisions that left me baffled. Our playcalling was much improved too (offensive playcalling 100% lost us the ohio state game) and I liked how our receivers stepped up after we lost a few to the transfer portal. Faison and Thomas played great. Love and Price were like the Riddick/Wood duo. I'm excited for next year. Angelli is awesome. Poised. Accurate. Good decision maker. Even ran the ball well.

Well said, Thomas. I also was impressed with Steve Angeli, for the reasons you named. The O-line gave Angeli some clean pockets, and he appeared to throw the ball w/confidence. At times he put some excellent touch on the ball. I also was jazzed by the amount of pressure that our defense brought to Oregon St on passing downs.

Congratulations to the young men of Notre Dame. Marcus Freeman era has begun and I know it will capture a national championship.

LOVED that Sam Hartman was on the sidelines with his team! The sportscasters were talking about teamwork, and yes, Sam showed the level of team player that he is (he has all season). However, have we become such a collectivist society that we can't see outstanding individuality when it's right before our eyes? Sam's not only extremely talented, he's a good person, he makes good decisions, and is a morally straight young man. I hope there is an NFL team that can see true leadership. The NFL needs more players like Sam. Our children deserve more role models like Sam. I am excited to see which of the NFL programs recognize it, act on it, and the success they'll realize because of it.

Steve Angelli got robbed by the Sun Bowl Committee. No one stepped up more for the team to get the victory than he did. What a sham. Apparently he needed to throw for 500 yards and 6 TD’s I guess, then for Beano Cook to tell us he’s going to win three Heismans, smh

This is what happens when you lose your 1st & 2nd string QB (OSU), and the rest of your best players to NIL/Portal/NFL prep (ND)...The Irish played great though, you got some tough young players.

The bowl construct is broken.

Oregon State secondary was just flat out awful. The one thing that Oregon State defensive backs could do was taunt Notre Dame players after getting first downs., #28 for the Beavers was the worst offender. When you are a garbage player,, like # 28, you shouldn't trash talk the whole game long while you are constantly getting burned.

It’s been a sad year for the beavers and this is possibly the last bowl game we see from them in while. I’ll hold out hope, you never know what’ll happen in football but in the ncaa money talks and a medium sized agriculture and engineering focused school doesn’t provide this program with much .

We have recruited really well there. Those guys have been chomping at the bit to get on the field. Hard to do when you have a consensus All-American in Audric Estime on the field. Love and Price are legit AAs.

UMM, ND had 2 of 11 starters on offense. We were missing our starter, the backup went to the portal a while ago so Angeli was really the third string. Not to mention our AA in RB, TE, OL, and every WR starter was gone. So really ND was the shell that destroyed Oregon. It was never even a game. It was Men against Boys.

This announcer is nuts -- that "it is good with the new transfer portal," etc. College football is ruined. These bowl games, without key players, are worthless. Money and the NCAA greed ruined it all. What a bore!

Offence I would say bogged down to much for majority of game, 17 pts late 3rd quarter , against sub par opted out beaver defence.

ND had just as many opt-outs and transfer portal guys, playing with: -backup QB -Backup RBs -WRs hurt all year except Faison and Greathouse -only 2 scholarship TEs (they used 3 much of the season) -backup LT, RT, C, RG 😂

What did Notre Dame win?? A year’s supply of Frosted Flakes??😆
