I would not pizz Tony Stewart off. He tells it like it is. I wish he would admit to accidently killing that guy but on Tony's side the kid charged at him and 2 things collide. Any track that doesn't drug test drivers and give them breathalyzer. I know racing horses. I took random drug tests and Breathalyzer before I could race. After the Breathalyzer your in an area where there is no alcohol and you cannot leave till your done racing. It's a big place so it's not a big deal.

Hands down the best interview with smoke I've ever seen. As for smoke, I would have loved to have seen him run F1 for just one season.

He could have never survived the politics of F1. I love the sport for the pure technology. Thank God they have never adopted the saving money scheme that NASCAR has done. But it does mean that the politics is even more cut throat. Love him or hate him, Bernie saved it by being the king that he was - much like both Bill Frances did for NASCAR and they are so missing now. Tony is right about asking a sports car company to build a stock car. A old truck rear suspension was bullet proof unlike the current IRS. I miss the old days of when teams would buy a “body in white” from a car maker, build a chassis in it then race it. Hell all of them are building 700hp motors again… race them fuckers. Then it would be stock car racing once again 😊.

My grandpa, my grandma, my uncle, my mom and my brother all worked at I-55 raceway and my grandma answered my phones with Sue. She tells me stories all the time about Schrader and all the shenanigans you guys used to pull down at the race track. @@donkeller1233 lol that's funny when the kid got out of his car and rushed Tony's car and Grabbed his wing and it Spun his body up the track. You can clearly see where Tony tries to swerve to miss him on a wet muddy track no traction. It's kind of funny that there was no charges against him and the family even sued and lost. Oh yeah and the kid had Drugs in his system. It was a tragic accident but it's funny that you want to throw it out on KZread when everything is positive lol hater

@@kylehewitt6258 Yes it's negative. I don't recall seeing him reach out and grab Tony's wing. Funny that Tony was never drug tested, but the dead guy was. Weed stays in your system for up to 30 days. It doesn't mean he was high during the race. It was a convenient place for apologists to hang their hat. To me it's an example of a nobody being walked over by a famous and extremely wealthy individual. I tend to root for the underdog.

@@donkeller1233 So does Tony that's why he goes to these local tracks and races bringing all the people there and making all that money for the racetrack and getting people seeing these underdogs that you wrote for that you would never even know about if it wasn't for Tony. And go back and watch the video in slow Mo you can clearly see where he reaches up to grab the car. Believe me you're talking to someone that is a die hard Tony Stewart fan you're not gonna win this fight.

Tony Stewart May be the Future if a New NASCAR...id love it!

I remember Kenny winning that night at Eldora. Me and my family went that night because I Grew up a Tony Stewart fan since I was 7 years old. As soon as we found out Tony bought Eldora and that is was here in Ohio my parents got the tickets with my great uncle and great aunt who went with us. Kenny was fast that night, and pretty funny to say the least.

Two of my absolute favorite people in racing! And Kenny... Rusty Wallace is your brother? lol

LMAO and you are like "Are you a lover" to Tony! He is worried about his street cred! Damn I wish you guys did this after some races drinking some beer! You guys are awesome, thank you. Now he is messing with your street cred, lol! Watching this from a mountain on Taiwan!

WOW Kenny what a great show … your questions were great … you gave us a great in-site into who Tony is across the board … I kind of got the drift that he was actually driving dragsters but I didn’t know for sure, now I know. All the good things Tony said about you we’ve known a long time now ! I heard Larson say one time that there is a problem with Carbon Monoxide at the Chili Bowl in Tulsa, and it would take him a couple of days to recuperate after running there. Any word on that ? Kenny you have talent on the racetrack. You never got the break you deserved in Cup. Look at guys who came in your time. The guys who were put in top notch equipment from the start and given atleast 3 full seasons. Every year in Cup the Cars have changed. I remember the old days when there 5 to 7 blown engines per race now its a shock for a blown engine. Look how time has changed?? 😊

Honestly, I've been a NASCAR fan for quite a while and I never viewed Kenny as Rusty's brother, just as another racer. Fantastic! I love this interview and I listened to the whole thing. I became a big fan of Tony when he was racing those orange #20 Pontiac Grand Prix's and I have nothing but respect for him today. He truly cares about auto racing.
