I don't know whats more ironic, a mob boss singing this song, or someone who works in "waste management." Either way, its hilarious

This is where your wrong. For one it's showing, the, meds do help Tony even, though he seems, pretty out of it.. He seems happy and worry-less at this moment. Also listening to the song is "I don't wanna do your dirty work" , something Tony is notorious for, b.c he is alpha and expects everyone else to his dirty work for him.. He is boss, everyone else does the b.s work,so I find this very relevant .

A reason I find this show so brilliant, besides the fact that they touched on Damn there every single aspect of mob life, in best way to show cinematographically, with exceptionally great writing, is that everything comes full circle, and the detail he examines,in EVERY SINGLE scene, from foreshadowing, to the music or Easter eggs.. Amazing. This show was far beyond its time and in my book will always be best produced tv show ever. Even with things shifting,in the television business with Netflix and all

As soon as it began I knew I had heard someone sing it and within seconds I recalled Tony driving his car! To confirm my memory I searched for "Tony singing 'Dirty Work' in car" which brought me here. Didn't realize it was an early season though, one can tell early Tony from the first couple of seasons from the older heavier one from the final two.

codykillll It's an SUV--and it's a '98, those had power steering. I'd hate to think of how bad it would be without that on a truck that weighs over 5000 pounds.

Trucks and vans, especially older ones, usually have a bit of play in the wheel. Not to mention the notorious NJ potholes and you have a very shaky driving experience

One of the greatest TV characters of all time, I love this show . Currently doing a rewatch of the series, crazy to see it over again and how beautiful of a show it was.

Tony Soprano signing steely dan while cruising - that's my mood for life!
Sometimes I throw this on in the car and sing it like Tony with no explanation to my wife. She’s never seen the show. It brings me joy

This was in my head for a long time
a great sopranos moment
I swear one day all I heard was this
the best video that there is
"Miss Bing also in motion!" What great code names the FBI came up with. The strip club is named "Bada Bing." So they called Carmella "Mrs. Bing" and Anthony Jr "Baby Bing." Totally unbreakable code to anyone listening.

This makes me happy 😃
RIP big guy.

Goddammit. Love you, Jimmy (Tony)
When I was rewatching this I totally forgot this scene but I was laughing my ass off cause it’s so fricking hilarious

I swear I ran into some Steely Dan earlier with "Rikki don't lose that number" and checked out the top 5 sings with "Dirty Work" at 1.
Saw the new suicide squad trailer and immediately thought of this scene lol
Comedy GOld
hear it today at the radio.... 15 minutes after my court trial
Thanks

S3 E1 was a conspicuously creative episode.
I can’t believe I missed this scene after bing watching the Sopranos
Tony “Dirty Work” Soprano
This scene always makes me lol. A lot of scenes from this show do.
Tony hitting the low octave notes dead on.
I was losing it this entire scene
Every time I watch this magic scene I have sure that the classic Walter White scene singing in the car was totally and brilliantly inspired by that. Thanks, T.
I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING!
DOITY WORK, NO MORE
this plus walter white singing “a horse with no name” driving through the desert
This song and ‘Woke up this morning’ are the most appropriate songs since this show has Guns and doing dirty work like disposing weapons and bodies.
The Suicide Squad brought me here
RIP James Gandolfini
I fucking love this scene! 😂😂😂
The road's a little windy.
Saw Steely Dan in NJ last night and thought of you, Skip
Baby bing on the move
Tony soprano brought me here
THIS IS SO HEARTBREAKING FOR ME.
Never had the makings of a mezzosoprano
Oh the irony in that scene
What’s up all the steering? 😂😂 you would be able to unsee it.
This song came on randomly, and I was like, "WHERE HAVE I HEARD THIS BEFORE???"
This is like a simpsons gag or something, I can imagine homer singing this while wiggum tails him
