As a meditation and yoga teacher on my own journey of self-education around investing, I was totally caught off guard when at 56:46 of the interview, Tony went out of his way to jump topics for a few minutes from talking about investing to asking Ray about his personal experience with meditation. I loved what he had to share. I know Tony meditates and I'm not surprised that Ray does too. I didn't start meditating until 2.5 years into my own yoga teaching career and it's legit changed my life personally and professionally. Great conversation!

Great vid.. the secret of decision making... Stress test your ideas, don't asume you are right..write down the principals and commit to them regardless of what other think or even what your own thought are.. The principals should never be violated. He said if your are worried.. You should not me worried because you are OK.. But if you think u r right then... You should be worried... very much describes psychology of trading and how decisions are dictaminated by our emotions during fight of flight physiological response.

I've never heard of Ray Dalio before , but the way he handled this interview, calm, collected, patient and still has a warm look to his face was inspiring. I wish he wasn't interrupted so much but with that said it proved he really is a professional in LIFE. 👌
