Can't believe the difference between gbc and gba . That's monumental. Can't believe I never had it for gba . Google here we come!

1. Dreamcast - It is a significant improvement over every other version (obviously since it is next-gen), with higher-poly models, sharper textures, and overhauled lighting. The characters' shirts even have wind physics whenever you go fast. 2. N64 - I just prefer the smoother look of the N64 over the wobbly look of the PS1 version. 3. PS1 - Textures and resolution are slightly better than the N64 version, but I cannot stand how wobbly the graphics are in this version of the game. The framerate is also less consistent than the other versions of the game. 4. PC - The PC version looks the worst of the console versions because of the awful clipping, wobbliness, and lack of lighting effects. It also uses the PS1/N64 models as opposed to the Dreamcast ones. 5. GBA - It is the same as the other versions, just isometric, so I am including it on this ranking list. This version uses 2D pre-rendered backgrounds and, surprisingly, 3D character models as well. No doubt this version looks the worst, but the GBA is significantly weaker than the others, so that is a given. For a GBA port it is impressive though as it features the same levels and mechanics as the console version, just 2D isometric.

The Dreamcast version looks the best, but the PS1 version, despite having low quality sound effects during gameplay, supports Dolby Surround, since it sounds the best on real hardware.

GBA was the only system i had THPS2 for. I never knew there was a GBC version! it was difficult to play on GBA because it is hard to judge your positioning and height, so i ended up falling a lot. therefore i mostly played THPS1 for n64 until the gamecube and thps3 came out. i love that game - the soundtrack defined my taste as i was growing up

Looks like the PC is just a port of the n64 one with widescreen and higher res. The Dreamcast one appears to be the superior game

Something to note about the sound in these versions is that the PS1 version is in Dolby Surround, the N64 version is in Mono. And the PC and Dreamcast versions are only in Stereo.

No wonder some games sound different from different ports

The GBC version is what I was expecting to see as the GBA version, the GBA version I'm impressed. It looks like a DS game if I don't pay much attention. Seeing the GBA it seems to have been a fairly powerful console, more than I used to think it is. I like the DS but I don't think the DS was probably that much more powerful than the GBA. Well it probably was quite a bit because the DS had to power 2 screens but the DS only had a bit better graphics, a bit more higher resolution and more polygons and better effects yes sure bur it wasn't a jump like from PS1 to PS2 or PS2 to PS3. The PS1 had good memories with but I think has worse graphics than the other consoles (not handhelds). N64 is capable of doing better models and other things but sad it only had 64MB of data in their cartridge. The Dreamcast version looks good looks like a bit better PS2 version. The PC version looks like the Xbox version.

Some fact : GBA isn't that powerful, but the developers do know how to create wonderful games for it.

GBA one has more nostalgic memories.

The n64 video isn't original footage, it is emulated and has a way too high resolution. Compared to ps1, textures should look way blurrier

ALL the systems (but the PC) are emulated and the resolution is upscaled, not only the N64 version.

You left out the version on the end Nokia Ngage, which is actually a ported PlayStation version in full 3-D.

Well, if you add an HDMI to the N64 with a mod, there is not much difference between real hardware and emulation. The problem with the N64 is the DAC and the composite video. On the opposite side, the GC with the Digital Output can output DVI or HDMI natively without any modification.
