Honesty Tony Hawk is the best spokesperson for skating, no ego, nothing bad to say just good vibes.

Dude, has ego for days. But there's nothing wrong with that. He couldn't have been the GOAT without it. 🐐

Good vibes with the exception of his NFT nonsense of course
He could have sailed into the sunset decades ago, but he's still skating like a madman. The absolute 🐐

Imagine being the person to tell the most recognizable action sports figure in history to get off the Olympic skatepark

You don’t need to know anything about the skate world to respect and admire this man. He’s a legend and revered beyond his skate skills. Thanks for sharing your story Tony!
Knowing that Tony is going back to skating after this is something that always makes me happy. Never change Birdman!
The old Tony Hawk games was where its at. The GOAT of vert 🛹
Still to this day, Tony Hawk's 900 is my favorite moment in sports history. I get goosebumps every time I see it :)

Same. His face walking up that ramp is the epitome of history in the making
Knowing tony hawk is one of the biggest legends of all time of all sports, him being as humble as he is is crazy. Appreciate you tony!!
I'm 31 and don't skateboard anymore sadly but I still love playing the Tony Hawk games
Tony Hawk: *Got ridiculed as a kid because he was small* Also Tony Hawk: *Grow up into a 6'3 giant*
He's accomplished so much, innovated an entire sport, and inspired generations of people. Tony Hawk is one of the coolest human beings on the planet.

Pump your breaks, goat forsure. But Rodney Mullen innovated skateboarding

@@byronbass1370 You don't think they both did? Mullen innovated street skating for sure with all his crazy tricks, but I feel like Tony Hawk has done more overall for skating in general.

@@grindcoremaniac yeah i dunno, maybe your right. In a worldwide scale cause his videogame, but skating in general not as much. But lets not get it twisted, he is a fuckin legend. GOAT. Danny way, alva, mark gonzales, natas, mullen.
Tony hawk u are a big part of my life. U push me in 1999 I rember u landed the 9. I was living with my grandma . I was amazed. U where flying. U kept me positive skating and being on a straight path.
Tony is awesome because he’s known for being a pro but known to be a famous spokesperson for beginners. He’s perfectly balanced between the two
I owe this guy alot. His game as a kid introduced me to skating and the music on that game introduced me to alternative music in turn influencing my lifestyle today completely. In turn influencing my children. Always a fan and still get chills when I hear him describe that x-games 900. A true class act, constant professional and face of a culture, sport and icon. Long live the Hawk!
Glad he mentioned his old man Frank Hawk. Dude was a legend in making ramp skateboarding what it is.
Birdman was already legend status even before the 900 and subsequent things. He has always been incredibly brave, doing the most technical, awkward stuff, backwards, 15 feet above your head.
I’ve been intrigued by Tony and skating for so long. He’s just a complete legend who loves his gift. Just into giving it away. Love it all.
Tony Hawk: the oldest teenager
Reveal at the end was badass
One of the true GOATs! such a good skater and seem like an even better person. His parts in Ban This and The End are some of the best vert skateboarding you'll ever see. It's so easy to have a guy whose an arrogant type on top of the sport but he definitely doesn't bring that type of vibe. Tony, Rodney, and Gonz are the holy trinity of skateboarding (in my opinion, BUT there are definitely more other innovators that are rad) and they all seem like super rad people, cementing skateboarding as the greatest sport of all time (again in my opinion)
Awesome video. Looking forward to seeing more athletes share their tae on their storied accomplishments
Tony Hawk may be skateboardings coolest dad.
Tony Hawk's pro skater 1 and 2 were remastered to 2020 standards. I played both of those games religiously back in the late 90's and I'm Playing the remasters today. Probably some of the best games ever made imo. They're incredibly fun to play and have staying power. Great games for sure!
His HBO documentary that just came out is fire!
Dude still looks so young, I love Tony Hawk
Childhood hero I love this Legend of skating.
Please do a refresh of everygame thanks.
I had an opportunity when I was 8. 20 yrs ago. I got to step onto a Bus with Hawk, Hoffman and Mirra. These guys are just down to earth. And my Birdhouse deck has the sigs.
Absolute Legend! What a vert skater.

Totally humble and the ultimate 🐐
that 900 changed skating forever, everyone started getting paid
Living legend man I feel like TONY
Class act..best ambassador to skateboarding I could have ever imagined..RESPECT
Not enough good things to say about Tony Hawk. He just has an incredible beyond goat status. Not many people get to where this guy did. Incredible.
Tony is one of very few world famous people that managed to keep level headed, who still lives in reality and despite his accomplishments doesn't have a giant ego, you gotta respect the cat for that in and of itself.
God bless tony hawk the best freaking skateboarders ever. Been playing. His video games as a kid my uncle an brother use to skateboard 🛹

"Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off" is the HBO documentary that's just come out and likely the reason he's doing this video in the first place. Strange it isn't mentioned here.
10:04 what great choice of music he have to be one of the most iconic game of all time
Although I still do love the Tony hawks pro skater video game series, my perspective of him changed when I saw that "All This Mayhem" documentary on Vice about the Pappas Brothers. 🤷🏽♂️
Killed me when it skipped over Thrashin' and Gleaming The Cube - iconic skate movies!
Tony Hawk getting kicked off the Olympic course and his reason for being there was super wholesome and super punk skater all at the same time!
they interviewed him on a ramp 😂😂 iconic
Tony hawks underground all day. I really hope it gets remastered.
Tony seems like a humble down to earth guy, cool he was able to succeed..
Love
We love you Tony!

You can’t put “TONY HAWK” & “BREAKS” in the same title and not expect people to click on this vid. You know what they say...”WANNA BE GREAT, BEST LEARN TO SKATE!” Love you TH...you’re never boarding!!!❤😂

the hawk, the legend
They didn't mention Gleaming the Cube!
Legend the best os best
Why did I search up Tony Hawk and not realise this video was new? Haha.
Tony Hawk hang out on any skateboard course he wants too!
How does this only have 32k views in 3 days? Wtf
1:23 no false. tbh the first sign that you will be better on a sport/hobby is the first time you got hurt very bad. not the time to quit. When I was 12 I started borrowing my cousin's bike to practice riding a bike I got hurt many times and keep on trying one time when I was practicing my path goes on a down hill I dont know what to do cause that bike dont have a brakes so I fallin the dirts and had i cut because of the crankset hit my legs. But instead of stopping their I continued and I learned how to ride a bike. It was a MTB medium size
The Hawk man wanted to FLY MAN!!!!
THE HAWK IS HERE!
This guy looks a lot like Tony Hawk. I hope he's still skating!
Lol I was just looking at his Twitter posts a little while ago then bamb this video comes out
