This is my favorite Lady Gaga era. To be honest, we need to accept this is the most important thing she´s ever done, number one or not. Numbers, charts, who fucking cares? Stupid sell out Miley Cyrus, One Direction or Katy Perry always end up number one, but that doesn´t mean they´re good. Numbers mean shit to art. If you really are a fan, you know and can see this is the happiest she´s been, like ever. You can see the shine in her eyes and how much she loves Tony and jazz music. Yes, "pop" music may give you chills but jazz music gives Gaga chills and that´s that. People need to grow up and start realizing this is pure, raw talent, no synths, no autotune, no electroshit. Just Gaga and her voice, that´s all we need.

I've been a Lady GaGa fan since 2009. I'd always hoped she'd do something at least more acoustic so we could hear her amazing voice like we did with the Stefani Germanotta Band. This is.. more than anything I had ever hoped for. It's beautiful, it's honest, it's classic. A lot of you are complaining about how she's "changed".It's strange that you care so much since you didn't know her in the first place. Paws up forever.

I'm a fan from the beginning (2008) too!!! :) I'm so proud of her, she is an amazing artist with such talent and with a great voice, she means so much to me! I'm just glad that people start to recognize her talent and personality, because she is such a nice person and very funny also... I love the fact that she doesn't care what others think of her, as long as she knows what she is doing and, of course, her biggest fans - little monsters! :) paws up

I am so glad Gaga did jazz! Her unique versatile voice is perfect for jazz and every other genre! Gaga is truly one of a kind. There is no competition between Gaga and the rest of the pop stars, she's blows them right out of water!

Terrible cover of the elegant Ella Fitzgerald. The word elegant isn't even in Gaga's lexicon.

I love it -- Lady gaga is showing her true colors and Tony as well as herself are having the times of their lives -- Tony is in his 80s and really has no competition because the old timers are gone -- I'm enjoying this part of my life a baby boomer who is hearing and seeing my favorite artists such as Babs singing duets with other great artists and they're showing off their talent. It's been a real treat watching and hearing Lady sing scant scales and rearranging songs to show off her range of musically talent. Getting standing ovations too and these two really stole the show at the grammy awards 2015.

All I knew of Lady Gaga was from the press. I'd heard Poker Face and it was ok, but I put her in the category of another female pop singer who was doing what it took to get noticed. However, I have been blown away by all her wonderful renditions of Jazz classics. She and Mr. Bennett are great together and yeah, I've been listening to more of her pop stuff and appreciating it more. Guess I've become a fan...Woo Hoo

John Bowman Same here. She was just marginally in my peripheral vision as a pop-star who has this outrageous costuming thing going on. I knew she was active in political and social issues, but that's all I had cared or needed to know. Until I followed a link to her performing for the Stevie Wonder tribute and had my socks blown off. She just killed it. My awareness has been rising and rising the last couple of weeks (of a bit of obsessing about L.Gaga) and my admiration and amazement at her talent is growing daily. The most admirable thing about her is her integrity. She settles for nothing less than sharing her own vision and art and performing live for audiences.

I've never been a dedicated fan of hers, and I didn't check up on her career for a very long time because all I could think about was her association with pop. Not to sound pretentious, but idk she just felt like another one of those singers who start really big & gain traction too fast for them to keep up before they start dabbling in other media & relying on the loyalty of diehard fans to stay successful, if that makes sense. Lady Gaga is doing something completely different, though. Her newest collaborations bypassed me for a while until I came across this song, and I'm really glad she's going in this direction! She's always had the voice and personality for it, even back in her very first album.

Renato Judas She started out singing jazz. This is her getting a chance to get back to an art form she has loved all along. That tatoo on her right arm is a Miles Davis trumpet. She does things for a reason and sees her art as a whole, whichever part of it she is presenting at the moment. That's what I find so honorable and amazing about her. And she can sing! She can really really sing!!

This kind of music is the kind of music that brings new fans. Honestly I'm happy that Lady Gaga changed her style and quite frankly I think this is where she should stay. This genre of music suits her style so well and has truly made me a Lady Gaga fan. This is just my opinion but by the sounds of this REAL music, I'm pretty sure it's a damn good opinion.

I believe the serendipitous combination of Bennett and Gaga has been revitalizing for each. He is a master at harmonizing with so many, and brings out the nuanced, dimensional qualities in her voice, which few current singers have. With songbook classics she is a match for the greats, from Holiday, to Vaughan, to Garland, with her emotive stylings, really harking back to the era of great vocal stylists, particularly capable of embuing a song with depth and a sense of sincerity. Most modern singers are woefully lacking in real vocal sophistication or inflective range, relying on "runs" and embellishments which rarely match the requirements of the song. The rut leads to the singing equivalent of a guitar god solo, mostly flash and devoid of content. I was really appreciative they used Edith Piaf's "La Vie En Rose" in the beginning of "A Star is Born." The song is a classic, somehow infusing a melancholy sense of longing, heartache, yearning for something lost, without understanding a single word.

So beautiful... She's such a great jazz singer.

This can't be one person. I'm old and though I had heard of her, I saw her first at the Superbowl Halftime. I was not a fan of her music but her performance was so impressive. Then I saw her with Sting singing King of Pain. Actually, I've seen that many times. And now I see her singing Broadway with such feeling. She is amazing.

This really shows that she's an amazing and talented artist. She's versatile. She can do anything, pop or jazz. I like it, I like what she does and I love her for doing it.
