TONS of Old Cars FOR SALE! All Saved From The Crusher! (CRUSHED OUT Junkyard Rescued Cars)

These old cars were all marked Save from the crusher a few months ago when an old time junkyard was sold and cleaned up. I filmed the yard prior to them crushing it out, and even saved a few cars out of there myself. These cars are all for sale, but the price starts at $2,000 due to time and cost invested into saving them. If you are interested in any, please email me. There is plenty of variety here, Mopars, fords, Chevys, etc., some could be fixed, others used for parts, but all have been given a second chance instead of being turned into scrap metal.

Back in June I bought a 61 Cadillac 62 series and it's a base model and I gave 2500 and its complete and the only thing wrong with the interior is the headliner. And I was glad to hear the gentleman had decided to save some of them but starting at 2000 dollars on those seems to me to be way to much for most of those cars

The Gold Duster package came with gold badging, gold stripes on the sides and rear, wall-to-wall carpeting, pleated, all-vinyl seats, whitewalls, wheel covers, a deluxe insulation package, and a canopy vinyl roof. The Gold Duster was offered through 1975 of which 24,817 were equipped with the 340 engine.

@@66skate I took the slant six which is probably one of only three that ever threw a rod I guess through the block. After cleaning it whatever I put it in the trunk. A few years later but in mind wanted it really bad going through a divorce I sold it to him for 500 bucks and even then that was a little cheap back in the '90s. We did the old agreement if you ever sell it give me first dibs okay I will hear it I'm driving down the road about 50 miles from there and Bam I see the car. Well I guess after 6 months he gave up on it and sold it to this guy and probably made money! This guy was known for turning things like the gold duster in the demon clones and stuff like that tributes whatever you want to call him. Well that's my one and only ownership of a gold duster. If you're a Mopar guy you like the old old stuff is a 53 fury convertible for 1500 bucks in Texas so it ought to be in better shape than most. It sounds cheap but if you're going to do anything near stop with that car oh my gosh arm and leg. Be glad to share otherwise FYI.

340 was discontinued after the 1973 model year and replaced with the lower-compression 360. If the gauge cluster is still in the car, look for the "CHECK EGR" light, that means a 1974-1976 A-body. You can probably tell easiest from the VIN tag on the driver's side of the dashboard. Valiant Brougham and Dart Special Edition are really nice cars. They're like miniature New Yorkers, and today they would still be very comfortable and relatively fuel-efficient, and are basically the same size as a modern luxury car. There are 2 door hardtop and 4 door sedan versions. My favorite car of all time. Slant-6, 318 and 360 were available. Made only from 1974-1976 model years. Don't expect them to be fast; they're just really comfy cruisers if you have to drive across the country. The Duster is a type of Plymouth Valiant, so the VIN with start with V. The Demon and Dart Sport are both types of Dodge Dart, the VIN will start with an L. Also watch for the Feather Duster. They were in 1976 only, Slant-6, A-833 four-speed OD manual. They had aluminum hoods and trunk lids and a few other parts for weight-saving and therefore fuel economy. Feather Dusters are highly sought-after by anyone who drag-races Mopar A-body cars. I do not know if there was a Dodge Dart Sport equivalent. There was also the Space Duster (and the Dart Sport Hang-10) which had a different body structure to eliminate the cross-brace behind the back seat and allow fold-down rear seats... for your surfboard. There was even a convertible Duster, though I have never seen one in person. The roof did not fully retract, so it would have been disappointing to anyone expecting a real convertible, sales were pathetic, and I think if you find one today, you're sitting on a goldmine. Gold Duster, Feather Duster, Space Duster are all fairly rare cars even when new. Someone else can break down the production numbers for me, but they are not common. We Mopar guys tend to be very anal about numbers-matching and build sheets under the front seats and stuff like that.

That yellow two door that you were questioning was either a Mercury Montego MX or a Mercury Cyclone from 1970 through 1972 - my guess would be 1971. From the remains, it is hard to tell whether it’s an MX or Cyclone as both were premium packages on the same body.

Most of them are only good for parts cars. I agree that the price seems rather high, but if you need a bunch of body parts to restore a car, you can spend well over $2,000 really quick buying parts individually, so buying a donor car can be worth it in the long run. Some of them though aren't worth that much.

The yellow 2-door car, 351 engine badge call out on fender, scoop on the hood: I believe it's a Mercury Montego, guessing somewhere in the 1968-1971 model years (but don't hold me to that). Basically, Ford drivetrain. If that car had/was a 351 4bbl carb (Cleveland preferred over Windsor) and was backed up by a C-6 HD 3-speed automatic or a (preferred) 4-speed manual trans, and had a 9" Rear Axle (with a posi), that would have been a decent car. Of course same version but with a big-block (390, 428) would be rather rare I would imagine.

13:40 car is a Plymouth Duster or its sister car the Dodge Demon. 19:05 is a 1970 (?) Mercury Montego or possibly a Cyclone, but probably just a Montego (pretty rare) either way. And the 2 Impala's that you were not sure if they were 68 or 69. Were definitely 68's, as 69 has the big bumper, that wraps around the entire grille. Lots of cool cars. Unfortunately, probably all only parts cars at this point. Or big money pit restorations. Thanks for the video

the only one I'd pick out of the pile would be that '60 Cadillac. I'm sure he'll want more than 2k for that Rusty pile. the very first car you looked at was a 1948. '46-'48s were very similar. I believe I pointed that out when you posted that video on the Nebraska auction around a month ago. also, the car that had the inset rear taillights was a duster. similar to that "gold duster", but I believe a year newer.
