Tim, thanks for letting that young family have the "66" that was cool of you !
I get a nostalgic feeling when I watch your shows.. Auctioning off history... I used to be a part of that history.. I remember when those Square bodies were new
Never seen so many 'stressed-out' suspenders in one place in all my life!🤣

Can't help but comments on how you put your puzzle together. It's as unique as you are.. Mr Tim...

Well, the top four feet of most of them were rust free anyway
I'm a Ford guy. But I assure you I would have owned the Delray that day. My favorite Chevy ❤

After many years of hearing the good ole manufacturer back and forth arguments, I came to realize the following. Good or old, ea. man. man good cars and they are bad cars. Wasn't always about who made em, but who owned & cared for them. Even then, you could still get a lemon, always happened always will. Lastly, all the old iron , maybe except for a few exceptions looks awesome, and I wanna own and wrench on it all!

Dam shame you didn't get the Delray or the black chevy truck. Great video as always. Keep up the great work buddy.
a steal on the 58 del ray. wish I would of known about this auction sooner. 21 hours old now!
I wish I could go to a auction like that and be able to bring a nice truck or car home.
Terriers love doing terrier things.🐕🐕🐕
I figured you'd be all over that 58 . I know your a Ford guy but that was a good buy if the floors were good. Thanks for your time and videos
@mr.goodpliers6988

It was a decent car but I was waiting for the black pickup. That car looked like it sold cheap, which it did, but they would have bid to around $2500 on it. The $1500 bid was around where I would have wanted to quit, so I chose no't to jump in
Wow there was a few big boys at that auction
Glad you were at least able to save what was left of the short box trailer. Seems kind of a shame to have cut it up for patch panels, but this is better than it getting scrapped, for sure. 58 Chevy seemed like a really good deal.
@mr.goodpliers6988

The trailer is really beat up, it was strictly parts before getting cut
Thank you!
That 66 truck at 400. Was bitchin
Another great video. Many bargains as others have noted. In Florida, many (maybe most) would be 2-3x - even the ‘scrap’.
Great video as always ❤👍👍😎😎
Yes that is success Peace out
Mr Goodpliers you should be buying them old trucks up and exporting them your make a nice bit of money.
wow super cool video, cool to see all those old vehicles getting new life.
This video depicts some of the largest people I think I’ve ever seen.
There sure are some epic big bellies there!

That so called 1953 Chevrolet truck would have to be older than that because it had crank door handles which were discontinued after 1951. I would say the truck shown at 6:00 is a '51 because it has vent windows.
I Woulda Bought Every Square Body GM Pickup They Had!! Great Prices On Them.
The Cat dozer looked to be a D7 with electric start, since I couldn't see a pony motor? The tracks looked good and tight, but hard to say if the undercarriage was in the same shape. The price was cheap enough, but of course hauling it somewhere would add up, particularly if it didn't run.
@sallybrokaw6124

D7's had pony motor also. When they wore out thats when the electric start upgrade would be installed. AL B.
I was born and raised in the Southwest Detroit neighborhood called Delray. I own 2 Chevy Delray's because of that car being named after my neighborhood. Nice project car headed for the road again. 👌
They sure are selling some big overalls in Kansas.
The chevy stake truck would run if it wasn't for the seized engine and blown transmission. 😂 Another great deal.
4:43,did you see the size of that dude?the one in the white shirt and bibs not the red shirt and bids!!wow!!😯😯😯😯!his momma was a good cook for sure!!!damn!!
Dam was hoping you got the 58
$1500 for the '58 ?? And all those medium duty trucks going at or below scrap?? Wow. Northeastern U.S. prices are incredibly obnoxious compared to these. Wow, just wow......
@mr.goodpliers6988

They weren't scared to jump in and it scared everyone else off. Good strategy that worked for them. They would have bid to $2500 on it. They have it on Marketplace for $4500

I think that he was the scrapper. He was marking them with spray paint - that is usually what the scrap man does when he gets one.
wow,that 58 chev 2 door car only brought $1500 and then up next that crappy 1965 chev truck brought $2200!!thats nuts!!!i figured that truck was only worth $1000 at best,but nutty people kept bidding on it!!!
I got a fender to fit the right side of that 58'
Whatever isnt junked will end up in swap meets and future auctions

old junk yard guy watching from the ca, mojave dedert
I can't believe how cheap those 140 sold for in nc they would bring 2500 ez
Do you know where there is any 1939 Chevrolet pickup 1/2 ton short bed pickups at
That black Chevy truck with the camper topper sold for way to much money
@mr.goodpliers6988

I was the runner up bidder 😆 It was a desirable truck - black, Custom cab, automatic, and the engine turned. More than likely it would have been lot drivable with a weekend of tinkering. The guy who bought it was a flipper and will double his money after putting a little time into cleanup
Did you get the 58 Apache was wondering if you did if you wanted to sell it
@mr.goodpliers6988

I was tempted but let it go. The 235 inline six was about the best part of it. The rest was a rusty 3/4 ton that was pretty clapped out from farm use. I can get you in contact with the guy who bought it if you like - send me an email mrgoodpliers1985@gmail.com

They were giving the p.u away I would have made two trips who ever no 8 was he going to make so much money. I well never in a million years understand why you haven't purchased a 4 car trailer for long haul,s trips.it would pay for itself.?????

I borrow Joe's big one every now and then. I have a line on one that I will be getting in service soon. However, buying more vehicles is just the first step. There's more work after that to get them rolling & titled and bring them to market
Always sad to watch what someone spent a lifetime accumulating just scatter to the wind
Old hoarders junk left to rot.would have never sold anything.
why was the 58 so cheap?

Kansas, you sure can tell it’s corn fed country. ‘58 Delray, there’s a reason that body style was one year only 🤢

There good looking cars
IMO - it is good to see old farmsteads with massive collections of "JUNK" and worn-out vehicles, tractors, equipment, etc, sold off to collectors and restorers. Any farmer who does not respect the land and environment and just keeps amassing acres of detritus should not be in the farming business! Nuff sed...
@CharlesAtwell-or7bm

They wouldn’t have survived for your so called collectors and restorers if not for people like this farmer. I wish my folks would have held on to some of the things on our farm but he chose to trade them in sometimes for a little of nothing!

Nature doesnt care about piles of piles of plows, tractors and vehicles. Nature gets killed by mono-agriculture, all-destructive chemicals like glyphosate and disrespect out of ignorance. And i am well aware that farmers are NOT to blame alone if at all. Get my point?
I've got a rusty pile of leaf rakes and metal shovels with busted wood handles. Starting bid is $200. 😂
