Only stock Mugen topdecks fit. The RC Maker ones fit, but only one screw in the middle so no adjusting the hardness

I have a newly built MTC2 and it makes a loud crackling/ grinder sound while breaking. Even while holding the car up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Great videos.

maybe belt tension too low? Or anything binding or scrubbing on a set screw ?
