oh I knew someone who had this on n64 and it looked great back then. I may give it a look sometime though. Thanks for the analysis and review :3

Tonic Trouble was basically the dry run for Rayman 2, so in the end it succeeded where it needed to. It might not have reached it's own actualization, but it allowed Rayman 2 to be the best it could be.

The tone and design of the two games is completely different, is the thing. But yeah, they couldn't both have been good with so many shared resources

He has a Cameo in a tv ad in Beyond Good and Evil. Also that weird Rayman racing game...........as a skeleton.

I played the N64 version of Tonic Trouble way back when, but quickly forgot about it. It wasn't until recently that I discovered the PC version with the added context and became more fascinated with the game! That as well as the history and nitty gritty details! The gameplay isn't anything impressive to write home about. But even then, I still found it to be an enjoyable experience! :) As highly unlikely as it is, I think this game could greatly benefit from a remake.

I'm not a big fan of remakes. I'd much prefer they work on a sequel if they ever wanna bring it back
