This song came to my mind. The guy that I have been madly in love with for the past 7 years doesn’t want me anymore. He found someone else to make him happy. I stayed by his side through a prison sentence and the rebuilding of his life. When I met him, he didn’t have anything, not even a drivers license. Now he has a great job, making good money, and life is far better for him than it used to be and now he doesn’t want me to be apart of it anymore. That hurts me to my core, but listening to this song let’s me know that it’s okay to let go. As bad as it seems, as unfair as it feels, things are going to work out just fine for me. Thanks Toni. Prayers for everyone going through a tough breakup and a hard time right now. We’re going to make it through.

She is underrated. People like Madonna are overrated. Madonna had some cheesy 80s grooves. Toni moves you with her deep voice. The lower stuff is actually more sexy than the high notes on a female. She's very feminine and yet her vocals authorise your feelings and emotions to be released.

AND this is for friendships too y'all! I had to just walk away from a friend who i knew since 13, she became bitter, jealous, and antagonizing of my new marriage! I was there for her and supportive of hers long ago! Its not my fault they divorced because he cheated on her! And now that i have found love and married later in life, she hates my sweet, African husband! So guess what? I walked away from the friendship and sisterhood and , said to myself, 'Let it Flow'! Me! Can't get my ex off my mind! Wish I still didn't love him as much, as I do!

I used to listen to this song while in severe depression, 13 year abusive relationship, miscarriage and losing my mom. I didn't understand at the time because i was so lost in depression and in and out of hospitals whilst my ex fiance was living his best life at the expense of the pain i was suffering. When i finally gained strength to heal i listened to it again and understood that no relationship is worth losing yourself in. We need to let go when love no longer exists because we were not born to exist in pain and suffering. This song is still carrying me in my journey towards healing.❤

I can’t believe I forgot this song. It was on the waiting to exhale soundtrack (which was phenomenal) Toni’s deeply soulful voice mixed with such heartbreaking relatable lyrics is a masterpiece! Toni and Babyface are a dream team❤

Man this song has brought me through a rough and toxic relationship I was in.. felt as if I was grieving from a death but it was heartbreak.. just hearing Toni say let it go everything's gonna workout right she was right, the woman tried to come back I entertained it for a couple months but that was it..

This song means so much to me, it saved my life after a really bad breakup. When I thought all was lost, Toni was there to remind me “everything’s gonna work out right, you know” 💙
