So we’ve been separated for 8 months and I’ve been thinking about fighting for it but my heart keeps telling me no so I prayed right before this song and asked God for clarity!!! This is such an on-time gift! My stepfather recently walked out on my family (on Christmas Day, actually). I’m 19 and jn college, but it’s still been a rough adjustment for my family, especially trying to encourage my mom to make it through it. We both love Toni and saw her in concert last year. The message in this song is tremendously relatable and I can’t wait to share the song with my mom-it’s just what she needs to hear and hopefully it’ll encourage her to find the strength within herself to do what she needs to do.
