Description: A short video about the Tongariro Crossing, which we did during our travels around the world back in 2016. It was a beautiful warm day with blue skies. But it was also very crowded, which is normal for the crossing, as it is one of the most popular hikes on the planet.

Wieder sehr schön, Michael! Da war ich vor ca. 20 Jahren auch unterwegs. Ohne diese viele Menschen zu sehen. 😁

Ich bin nochmal zwei Tage später um 2 Uhr in der Nacht hin und zu meinem Fotospot bei den Seen. War dann auch alleine und konnte die Szenerie genießen. Tagsüber ist es zu krass.

Oh my, look at the crowds. Hard to have a personal experience there. I think I would look for more secluded areas.

I agree. I went back at night. Was much better. This was more of a scouting hike. Also tama lakes was nearby and nearly no people
What a crowd.... Horrible I do not want to go ther e:(
