Tomtom Rider Motorcycle Sat Nav GPS Review 42, 450, 500, 550 cheap compared to Garmin
In this review we check out the Tomtom Rider Motorcycle specific satellite navigation (sat nav) or GPS as some of you will call it. We use a 2019 Kawasaki ZX10R to look at the Tomtom Rider 42 8GB against the newer 450, 500 and 550 special series and work out whether they're worth the extra money. This model has a 4.2" colour touch screen, lifetime European maps and a thrill route planner.

Bought one of the rider 550 on August 2018 to tour europe, I have had 3 since then absolute nightmare and tomtom have replaced it but with a refurbished unit so technically I have ended up with a secondhand unit for the 400 pounds I paid.
Thanks for the review. Do you think it still worth it buying the 42 today. Do you think 150 € is reasonable price for a used one? Cheers from south Belgium 🇧🇪
Is there a Reverse Route option. For example, if I plan a trip to a destination and have lunch, can I then pull up the route in reverse order to get back home or do I have to plan the ride back as well?

Protective HT yes there is a feature like this, the route stays in the memory and can be run in both directions
Good advice on not showing it to the wife. Don't ask me how I know :)
