    Tommy is one of the best singers period in our generation. He sounds better every year he gets older while the other greats lose their voices. Amazing. Keep singing Tommy.

    Very under rated for sure. Rick Emmett from Triumph is another & they kind of are alike. Damn Yankees put on an excellent concert

    Tommy is definitely one of the best singers and musicians I've ever heard. He is what made Styx in my opinion and definitely was great in the dam Yankees group. He never ages either.

    That Tommy Shaw isn’t in the Rock n Roll hall of fame is simply absurd! The guy’s had incredible success with Styx, Damn Yankees and as a solo artist. Plus, he’s the primary/co-writer of all those great songs

    Dead Planet - Tommy has had his problems with drugs and alcohol. Some musicians are able to handle them and others can't. It doesn't make you any less because you can't. His band mate Chuck Pannozo is dead for the twenty years. I'm sure Tommy doesn't denigrate him as you do. Listen to the song "Dear John".

    He isn’t human. Nobody maintains their range into their sixties. Ann Wilson and Tommy Shaw are about it. That’s in the key it was recorded in. No down tuning.

    I couldn’t imagine playing a 12 string guitar, much less singing while I do it. Tommy is a super talented dude. I remember when he first joined Styx in the 70’s.

    If you ever wonder why uncle Ted was part of Damn Yankees. Go watch the music video for come again. He is a guitar God. Many people hate him but no one hates his talent. Tommy can still hit a range in the stratosphere. Even after a long show

    By far my favorite Damn Yankees song. Saw Styx last week in Montgomery, AL (his hometown) and the man can keep going forever. Wish Damn Yankees made a 3rd album.

    Tyler Fergason They actually did a third album. It was never released. Damon Johnson , who now plays in Black Star Riders, played guitar on the album.

    Are you from Montgomery? I grew up north of there in Wetumpka. Love me some Tommy Shaw. He used to play at the bowling alley bar called Keglers Kove on Atlanta Highway in the 70's

    Are you FU##ING kidding me? Unsolicited vocals from the only GOD on vocals. This is how you replicate what you do in the studio. For those of you who thought Tommy was only a studio dog...well here is your proof that he is the REAL DEAL! This is so cool Tommy!     What can you say, Steve Perry is the voice, but Tommy is close to that mantle. He is my fav musician ever since my 7 year old self heard Crystal Ball for the 1st time on my brothers record player in 1979. Have seen him perform so many times and his excitement and voice never fails to entertain. Tommy thanks and please keep writing and singing.
