Tommy is one of the best singers period in our generation. He sounds better every year he gets older while the other greats lose their voices. Amazing. Keep singing Tommy.

This man definitely doesn't get the credit he deserves for his skills... one of the very best all around musicians...EVER.

Very under rated for sure. Rick Emmett from Triumph is another & they kind of are alike. Damn Yankees put on an excellent concert

Tommy is definitely one of the best singers and musicians I've ever heard. He is what made Styx in my opinion and definitely was great in the dam Yankees group. He never ages either.

Jesus, Tommy is a freak of nature. His voice hasn’t changed since puberty! Just an absolutely fantastic, ridiculously talented musician.

That Tommy Shaw isn’t in the Rock n Roll hall of fame is simply absurd! The guy’s had incredible success with Styx, Damn Yankees and as a solo artist. Plus, he’s the primary/co-writer of all those great songs

I love it when I stumble upon something awesome in KZread. This was one of those moments. My god, that was awesome.

Dead Planet - Tommy has had his problems with drugs and alcohol. Some musicians are able to handle them and others can't. It doesn't make you any less because you can't. His band mate Chuck Pannozo is dead for the twenty years. I'm sure Tommy doesn't denigrate him as you do. Listen to the song "Dear John".

He isn’t human. Nobody maintains their range into their sixties. Ann Wilson and Tommy Shaw are about it. That’s in the key it was recorded in. No down tuning.

Tommy Rocks and has the best hair in the biz. Not fair he has talent and great hair!

I couldn’t imagine playing a 12 string guitar, much less singing while I do it. Tommy is a super talented dude. I remember when he first joined Styx in the 70’s.

Tyler Fergason They actually did a third album. It was never released. Damon Johnson , who now plays in Black Star Riders, played guitar on the album.

Are you FU##ING kidding me? Unsolicited vocals from the only GOD on vocals. This is how you replicate what you do in the studio. For those of you who thought Tommy was only a studio dog...well here is your proof that he is the REAL DEAL! This is so cool Tommy! I saw him in Styx when he was about 23 and he is just as good now. He look so young.

What can you say, Steve Perry is the voice, but Tommy is close to that mantle. He is my fav musician ever since my 7 year old self heard Crystal Ball for the 1st time on my brothers record player in 1979. Have seen him perform so many times and his excitement and voice never fails to entertain. Tommy thanks and please keep writing and singing.
