Tommy was such a gentleman. Such patience and very talented more importantly. He had a great ear for music. R.I.P. Tommy Erdelyi.

Really interesting interview with a really interesting and talented man. In some of the Ramones interviews, the other guys said that Tommy was the "grown-up" of the bunch. They would go to Tommy's place because he would go to the store and buy hamburger and such and cook it to make a meal, and none of them could get it together enough to do that. His last quote of the interview was perfect. Such a sharp guy. R.I.P Tommy. Peace.

Thank you so much for posting this. My guitar teacher and I were discussing the solo to Kiss Me On The Bus this week. We were trying to figure out who it played it, it didn't sound like Bob at all so we were suspecting Paul did. Very cool to learn at that Tommy Ramone played it. Thanks again!

Tommy produced the first Ramones albums; without Joey and Tommy, there would be no Ramones

Very nice. Wish interviewer went song by song and asked for unique insight as opposed to just asking about the album in general. Also, wish he had asked him about any unique stories or tales that only he saw, or facts/insights that may surprise us fans- given his unique exposure to this band at that time. Still, well done.

This was such an obviously great album and as much as I like the production I don't think it's good production in the classic sense. Too much verb and strange eq.
