saw Tommy in Derry after the battle of Bogside in 1969 and then with the Dubliners after bloody sunday

My cousin's band the Femisns was there that year.. When God finally gets around to getting rid of the filth of this earth, the Tommy Makems of the world will live forever

Great piece of history recorded here though. Tommy Maken still banging out the great songs and energy and entertaining to many. He should have a statue erected of him in Armagh.

@@rorymakem4043 Rory,pay no attention. How many of these "critics" would have the guts to do what you and I have done and that is to get up there and sing and play the songs and music o the Irish people! Thank you for what you do!
They reckon ed Sullivan wasn't that good a presenter but the fuck did they find this guy
