Tommey Reed's Version of the Clem Engine Build 16

WARNING! This is very dangerous dealing with water pressure and compress air.
This is a theory put to the test. The concept of using a liquid piston is becoming more reality each day I experiment. Using Ram pumps (water hammer) could be the answer to efficient hydroelectric power production in the future. Using fuels like propane, gasoline and even diesel would create the most efficient way to convert mechanical work into electrical power generation.

    Looks awesome! You are definitely going to need a bigger tank or two. Do you plan on using it at a stream or just mains pressure?

    Yes, A flywheel on the output gearing will be much more efficient.

    @@tr-labs8320 yes and no.. A pelton turbine is most efficient when water and Fluid is moving at 50/100 V/oc Better to fill a large reservoir and drain at constant rate This is how pumped hydro works
