Feminism isn't about body confidence though, honestly I have no idea why it even became that. Feminism is to have equal rights for men and women. I never brought up feminism, but one problem to address from a feminist perspective is the unequal body/beauty standards between men and women in regards to body image. Also, how "beauty" affects quality of life. There are a lot of other things body image and set beauty standards affect. So, it is a necessary conversation. People are allowed to be concerned with more than one issue...

Fat men are way more underrepresented then fat women in fashion. But men don't complain as much as women do, so not as many concerned, to showcase their beautiful fat bodies in fashion... or any other perceived body "difference". There is a million in one ways this can play out. But the loudest voice will be the most showcased, not necessarily the whole picture.
