It's so nice to see someone playing the remaster using tank controls and just nailing every stunt because of it. Watching people struggle through old-school TR without sideways jumps, backflips, and strafe back is just *painful*. I'm over the moon with how great the remasters look, but I feel bad for the first-timers who basically can't play these games because the controls are so inaccessible.

It's a big misunderstanding, but the Inuit aren't actually from Alaska. They're just in northeast Canada. Some of the north and western coastal cultures in modern Alaska, like the Aleut (why the islands are called that) are distantly related to them though through language and migration connections over thousands of years ago. My dad is Aleutian so I'm always having to clarify this when people say or think that everyone from the far north is automatically Inuit. Even people from Canada make this mistake about north pacific cultures.

1:22:55 - how do you do that jump??? I've tried over 40 times and every time Lara either bumps into that tree right in front of her or veers WILDLY off to the right. Like, I've never even came anywhere close to getting near that bridge. I'm trying to get all 12 secrets and unlock Nightmare in Vegas. SO frustrating I'm stuck on 11 of 12 lol.

Hi. Thank you for incredible walkthrough. I followed almost every step as you did in Nightmare in Vegas, but maybe i missed something: can't reach its 2nd secret (bars). Circuit taken, both T-rexes with that one guy dead, but cage with 2nd secret is still closed. Any advice? Everyone has an issue with bird boss appereance for final fight, but no one with issue with closed cage with 2nd seret :/

Yeah there’s some music issues mostly in the golden mask expansion. Like the music will be play repeatedly if you step on the spot that triggers them , they should be only playing once and stop.

@@DiamiR92 There's nothing with your progress. But what I noticed is you took the elevator up and immediately encounter the giant eagleman. Have you tried running down the hallway to enter the cage? Just don't kill it first. Run down and get the secret instead 😉

@@stevenPCGaming Yes, of course, I tried to immediately run along the corridor to the secret, but the problem is that the cage in that place is closed and I can’t get to the secret. I tried to replay this moment in different ways, but it was still closed to me. I watched you pass this level and I will try to do the same. The problem is most likely that I entered that piano room too early.

I was never fully buy into the fantasy that Lara was exploring an old Soviet base. There aren't nearly enough portraits of Stalin.

Does anyone have a bug where the ghost warriors begin hostile ? I didn't shoot any, and a soon as the ice breaks and the first one falls, they turn hostile...

Happening to me as well, they weren't hostile at first though because I restarted the level to look for all items/secrets now they're hostile for no reason even if I start from a fresh start

I have run into that bug as well. I have seen others play the remastered version of Golden Mask without the ghost warriors becoming hostile for no reason. I started a new game, got to the area with them and they still attack me unprovoked. The one on the platform slightly above where you get that large medipack does not attack me unless I get on the platform he is on.

Where is the last pick up in the first stage?
